Chillicothe brain cramp allowing Jackson the ball with 5 seconds left instead of punting or taking safety....then Jackson misses a 22 yard FG

Could've tried a quick play from the 5...not there throw in dirt.

Oh well.

Chillicothe dodged a bullet no way in hell Coach Hinton called a pass on 4th down with 9 seconds left on your own 5 yard line down 3 punt the ball or take a safety. But hey a win is a win 24-21 Chilli go cavs

On another not two Chillicothe touchdowns called back on penalties should have been 35-21

What a crazy last few seconds. Had to of been some miscommunication that led to not taking a safety.

Congrats to the Cavs on the big win though

Totally agree. Those calls were a joke. The replays showed how bad those calls were Hinton better wake up on his play calling in the 2nd half. Jackson adjusted at halftime, for the 2nd week in a row chillicothe didn't.

Crazy game.

Jackson came out with very little energy, just like last week, but this time it cost them. Chillicothe played a great first half, but couldn't do much offensively in the second half. They did have some big plays called back, which could have really put the game out of reach. The Ironmen finally got the running game going, but some costly turnovers were really the difference. A pick-six, another INT to set up Chillicothe's first TD, a personal foul that turned 3rd and 2 inside the Chillicothe 30 into 3rd and 17, which led to a stalled drive. And finally, the INT on the last drive. Just too many mistakes to win against a solid football team. Jackson did show some heart in the second half, so maybe they can turn things around. Tough road ahead though.

The final sequence of the game was quite possibly one of the most unusual things I have seen in many years of watching football. Chillicothe has the ball with 9 seconds remaining, no timeouts, and it's 4th down inside their own 5. Rather than take a safety or punt, they throw a pass that falls incomplete. I think the Chillicothe QB just kind of panicked since they had no timeouts and he couldn't talk directly to Coach Hinton. Jackson then has the ball back with 5 seconds remaining and a FG attempt to send it to OT, but couldn't convert the kick. Complete madness. Definitely a disappointing loss for the Ironmen, but congratulations to Chillicothe.

Oh, and also the fake punt called by Hinton while leading 24-21 inside his own 20 on like 4th and 7. I have no words for that one. Of course it worked. Lol

I was on sidelines... Coach wanted the QB to run around endzone and then take safety but QB did panic... Luckily kicker missed... That fake punt was 4th and 3 I believe.. Big balls by Coach Lol.... Those two flags were horrible! Great game by both teams... #GoCavs

If we play the rest of our games like we played the second half in this Chillicothe game we will compete in every week here on out.

Despite the loss, a lot of kids both under and upperclassmen are performing well and contributing.

Time to come back to Alumni Stadium for 7 home games and get after the Roughriders from West Jefferson.
