I thought that this topic had disappeared...couldn't find it until sportsfan43 posted.

This thing will be about 20 pages long by the time tonight's over.

I'm going with calpreps which has the score being

Ironton (OH) at Logan (OH) [projection: Logan (OH) 41-14]

Logan isn't going to run up the score even though they could, if they get out to a good lead they will start resting their players, they have bigger fish to fry than running up the score on Ironton, but I will say this, if Ironton has any chance they will need to come out big play everytime and throw in some trick plays as well, now I know they won't do it but Ironton may want to think about onside kick if the kickoff to start the game, catch them off guard, do everything you can to get Logan out of their gameplan.

Hey did anyone else see NBC4 at last nights rally? I didn't get to watch the news last night to see if they said anything.

Just a suggestion but if you plan on being on SEOPS for any amount of time...Don't use your mascot in your name if you plan on moving any time soon!

i hope they do try an onside kick....hopefully they recover it too...that way our defense can start the game off with a quick touchdown

I'm told that Daktronics is bringing in a portable PA system for tonight's game at Sauer (much like the one to be used in the new stadium). We "test-drove" it this afternoon at ZHS. A couple of thoughts:

1. Don't stand in front of it, unless you want the hair blown off your head.
2. Tell the folks in the neighborhood to tape up their windows, so they are not injured by broken glass.
3. Be wary of structural damage to the bleachers.
4. Secure lids on all drinks.

All I can say is ... WOW. Very impressive system.

BTW, they're gonna mike the ref tonight.

While Ironton has a rich history and I am sure they will return to that tradition. I think Logan is too much this year. I just hope the Chieftans don't pull a Sigfried & Roy and make the tigers completely disappear.

What happened to Logan putting in the second and third team by 3rd quarter????? You gotta watch what you say, sometimes you jinx yourself. Our awesome young Tigers are playing with heart, and alot of heart can win big games.

Amen to that.

Was hoping the Tigers could pull the upset but it didn't happen. Congrats to Logan and good luck in the playoffs.

yep, speed kills. Most years Ironton has as much or more speed than anybody. This year, less than about anybody. weird to watch them like this. supposed to be back next year i hear though.
