Some players are getting interest from NAIA and NCAA DIII schools.
Reynolds as Linebacker more than anything.
Bentley as a longsnapper.
And I heard Wheeler is drawing interest from Marietta.
Johnson and Spradlin also have some schools interested in them.
However, most of these schools are small and/or private --- which leads to little funding and expensive fees to attend them.

I am a little surprised by some of them not moving on to the next level because its not like they didnt have some kids that could have they just obviously are ready to move on in their lives and give football up. I personaly feel that Trent Reynolds could have went on to play LB for a D2 school and Chad Bentely could have been a good longsnapper at just about any college, Travis Clay could have played OT for a D2 school, but other than that I don't know if they could have had anyone go and play anywhere just because I felt this was a good group that played well together rather than being good individual players.
I think what set this group out is that they are all friends. On any giving night you can see more than half of the seniors at a restaurant or just hanging out. No drama in the locker room leads to a comfortable enviroment which helps in establishing a winning attitude. I agree with Lone Ranger most of the seniors have just decided to hang up the cleats and focus on the rest of their lives and careers. I know some excelled in other sports and had chances to go to college and play but decided it was more important to get an education then to be a full time student along with playing a sport at a high level. Congrats to all the past seniors may your sucess on the grid iron lead to sucess in the classroom, hospitals or where ever your future employment happens to be.
Go Falcons! A new era in Muletown.

You guys are absolutely right. The seniors were/are a tight bunch that united for a common goal. The biggest standout was Reynolds. However, there were definately some juniors and a few sophomores that helped this team accomplish what they did. Four complete years under Coach Daniels and staff "could have" provided a playoff run. I'm sure the 07' Falcons were pleased with the way their season went, especially what happend to them 3 years before.
I was in there today, they did box squat and hex bar deadlifts. They'll be bench pressing tomorrow.
Ethan Hockett(Sr.) OL/DL 6'4" 340lbs.
Squat:225lbs/50x - Hexbar Deadlift:515lbs

Re: Minford 2008
With the strength & conditioning staff currently in place, I would expect Minford to be one of the strongest teams in the SOC.

Do you think Minford is the only team with a lifting program? I am sure everyone is lifting now, with a staff overseeing the program.
