Not sure how much interest there is from RV fans on this. Only three of the posters on this topic have RV connections at the current time! Maybe that tells the whole story on this? :122247

River Valley is located in the northeast end of Gallia County, just outside the village of Cheshire.

Has anyone interviewed for this position yet. With spring approaching, it would be nice to see the coach being able to work outside on skills with a few of our kids before summer work-outs begin. I understand the thoughts of seeing what teaching position may become open, but shouldn't administration interview candidates to allow one they may be interested in know so maybe they don't look elsewhere? Maybe the job is going to someone inside and this isn't a concern? I hate to see the kids wondering, I know from past experience, you don't workout quite as hard when a person is monitoring the weightroom instead of the Head Coach. Regardless what is done, I hope the kids have a face and name to put in place soon. How many applicants, anyone know? I heard 2 inside & 2 outside. Don't know for sure.

This coach should apply for the RV job!!! Daryl Davis from EAST would turn the program around, Back to back SOC 1 Titles and a trip to the playoffs this past year!!! RV wanting to get there program back on track ??? He would be a good choice for the job!!!

He should not have to look for a job. Should be the coach at East next year!

Fool,
You have so many ideas so why don't you apply for the position? Since, you say that you are old-school (which is a good thing) and that you know football, you would probably be a good candidate yourself.

booger,

I think you may be on to something. Maybe that is what is taking RV so long to make a decision. Are they waiting on Fool to apply?

I don't know much about River Valley but I do know two things. They STILL don't have a coach, and my Mighty Minford Falcons open up the 2008 football season with them out at the Pasture of Pain. So, good luck on finding a coach and I can't wait to see you guys in August.

There are few RV fans who post here. Many of them do so only to ***** and complain.
It seems to be top secret what is going on. 2-3 of current assts are running weight room at this point.
