Not rubbing it in but how does this effect Athens look for making the playoffs ?
Logan needed a win bad and this was one of them past SEOAL games so emotions had to be high no doubt.
Congrats Logan on a very tough win.

As former Chieftain Joe Howdyshell said on twitter tonight: Three things are guaranteed in life: death, taxes, and Logan beating Athens in football!

What a performance from Logan. Scrapped and clawed to steal the win. Coach Burke told Craig Dunn he wanted leadership to emerge.

How about when Logan fumbled a kick off after Athens tied the score at 10? Chiefs held the 'Dogs to a 4 and out. No hanging heads.

And then after it was 24-10, they kept plugging. Great to see.

Congrats to Coach Burke and his staff, and more importantly, another Chieftain team who found the pride and determination to defeat Athens. Very proud of this program tonight.
