Sorry to hear that, you guys have a great bunch of seniors coming up. I'd say things will end up all right over there though.

I've heard the opposite. Who isn't coming out and why. The weight room numbers are good and the right players are getting very strong. There are some fresh/soph players that look like they could really be a force.

I've haven't heard anything negative. All has been pretty positive. I know they have been a bit dissapointed that a couple seniors haven't been in to lift. From the people and players I've talked to, things seem to be going good.
If this was true and a player or players doesn't want to play and their heart isn't in it, not playing is probably better for the team in the long run.

^ I agree Coach T is a good guy and will be exactly what the West Portsmouth program needs in years to come. I wish he would have stuck around Ironton a little longer than he did, but I understand why he left. Good luck coach T from Ironton!

West kids and Coach T are working as hard,if not harder than any team out there. From what I hear, it is all positive..."West side no pride" seems to be the loner in the negativity department. Heard the weight room numbers are really good, for all grades...and have been since January...not much negative about that.

As a matter of fact, now that I think about it, I have heard that there are some new kids coming out at West also.

Good Luck to West and Coach Triplett!

Have one more question, Is the beard back? Note sure that I would recognize him without it.

I've heard we scrimmage Gallia Academy away this year. Should give us a good look.

We have a passing scrimmage saturday at Nelsonville York. Hope we look good. Heard alot of good things and a bunch of optimism. I think we're gonna have a breakout year.
