I'll jump on that. Logan would be middle of the pack most years. Years like 2000 they might have competed for the title, but for the most part if they could get to 4th it would be a great year.

Of course, I believe if you play those teams every year and continually raise the expectations, Logan would be a better program for it.

Look at New Knoxville. They are in the MAC and too small to have football. Yet they have gone UNDEFEATED the last two seasons in basketball and won the D4 state championship last year. They probably could have beaten nearly every team in the state outside of a handful of D1 or D2 teams, and that's with well under 100 boys.

Don't get me wrong, numbers have less significance in basketball, but it is impressive nonetheless. The craziest part is that NK will push for the MAC and possibly state title again in 2008-2009.

All that from one of the smaller schools in the state! Not to mention there girls were in the final four two years ago and their volleyball has been twice recently as well.

What a shock i agree with L.L. I feel Logan could have won the MAC possibly twice since 2000. One year the MAC had an usually weak year. Logan would be a top four finisher in the MAC over the last four years.

L.L. is also correct about BB. The SEOAL and southern Ohio do not want to visit that.

Yes i expect heads will turn. The Athens offense will probably have the Gallia heads turning and looking down field several times during the game based on Gallia's recent defense.

A bunch of us are heading to Wellston for the Jackson game though on Saturday night
