Unioto went unbeaten from 64-66, with 1 tie in 64. I believe the unbeaten streak was 31 games total.

How does next year look? Not trying to jinx you but I'd say this season is in the bag.

I believe Green's streak was 21 games. Lost last 3 games of 88 Season after Jeremy Hughes (QB) broke his wrist .Went 10-0 regular season in both 89 and 90, won opening game of 91 season against the Peake then lost next game. Long way back but a couple outstanding teams Green had then.

Valley had a 41 game streak that went from the last game of the 95 season to the first game of the 2000 season. It included 4 straight undefeated years with trips to the playoffs.

Coach Crabtree has had quite a few undefeated years during his tenure.

Valley didn't play anyone in the nineties. Remember 10-0 and didn't go? I was more impressed with the three years they won the soc 2.

at's what I'm talking about and burg's at 23. it's impressive, but it hain't even half way to ironton's yet.what burg is doing right now though is amazing. but it's turning into a ''big fish, little pond'' situation there.

and during that same time period 77-83
playoff opponents were.
Hamilton badin-win
akron saint vincent saint Mary's win 7-6 for a state title (in akron)
new concord john glenn-loss
mcconnelsville morgan-win
urbana-win, with the fabulous rogan brother.
and akron saint Vincent saint Mary's loss 14-21 in a state championship game.

just the facts, play em as you will. BOTTOM LINE WE HAVE SOME RICH FOOTBALL HISTORY IN THESE PARTS OF THE STATE AS WELL, MAINLY, IRONTON, BURG,PORTSMOUTH. AND OTHER TEAMS WHO ARE TURNING PROGRAMS AROUND.AS STATED BY OTHER POSTERS WHO HAVE BROUGHT UP WIN STREAKS LOCALLY I REALLY WASN'T AWARE OF.
