A great game to bounce back from... the ZT game was by no means a total wash... I believe the Redmen have some great potential, but their young and must grow up quickely... Valley is a quality team with a 1-0 start... I agree we must stop the ball up front... we are getting no push or quickness off the ball... the backers must fill the holes and make some big hits... too many tackles in the secondary... I guess this will come with experience and we recieved some from a quality Zane Trace squad... they were big, strong and experienced... and it showed in the third quarter... RH has no pressure on them... every body knows they are young... so just go out and play with some reckless abandon... have some fun and you'll win some games... we have some good athletes at every position... just believe in yourself and do the job... play faster, play smarter and have fun! "Rock Hill!"

I think the very young indians may very well pull out a win in a very close game. As will be the case for the Indians this year, their ability to hang onto the ball over could/will be the deciding factor in most of their games.

On a positive note...the Redman did play pretty much turnover free football and had very few penalties (if any)... to be so young they seem to be disciplined and that in itself is a positive sign and something on which to build.

This is kind of off subject. I went to the Rock Hill/Zane Trace game last week. I've never seen Rock Hill (as a parent or an athlete) in any way before. I would like to say I was very impressed with the community. Parents, Players, Bandmembers, and everyone else conducted themselves with class. Anyway good luck on the rest of the season...

I'm glad they have class because the Indians won't be bringing any with them!

I would have liked to commented earlier, but I have been on a missile shoot at NAS Oeana in Virginia. Now, we are currently planning out evacuation because of the hurricane that is about to slap us in the mouth on labor day!

As for the game, I was somewhat suprised to see Valley win 38-0, but at the same time I know those kids that are on the field have a TON of talent, just a little young. I think Valley beats RH 28-13 in a pretty hard fought game.

Starting out 2-0 can give the young Indians confidence that they will need progressing through this season and building for the next.
