It just bores me to tears and to me that is SUB-STANDARD FOOTBALL!!!

When you can consistently win the SEOAL that you speak so negativley about, I'll agree with your agruement. If/when this happens the Tigers will have no problems sliding into the playoffs and getting back to their old form. However, for now, Ironton isn't what they used to be.

Yep, and it would have helped if they would have held more than three practices before playing a varsity football game.

The good news is that their "vacation" in the States continues with a trip to see Marshall University and the Steelers play this weekend.

We could have seen Mooney at the Tank this week, but....

IT WAS A TEAM FROM CANADA!!!!!
they beat a team that don't use americans rules
so they have to adjust with america's rules
if ironton played there rules
it would have been a difeerent story

Talked to Iron Mike tonight and he said this one was ugle from the start and the Tigers could have really ran the score up in this one but held back.

Not his exact words but close enough.

at the most , i can say ironton looked vastly improved , still smarting from agame they let get away in week 1. they played a team that they were vastly better than. could have scored A LOT MORE. our passing grade is way up. but still scrambling qb'a are giving us fits. we simply must tackle better. jonathon schweikart has a truley amazing arm.and we have weapons this year to mix it up. this will be a very interesting year for the fighting tigers. i can't imagine what gallipolis scouts were thinking. whats going on here, they are throwing it every where. we'll get a better picture of what we have next week. when the city of the gauls , comes to town. great game tigers. and the canadian team seemed extremely well mannered, and good sports. :-D

This an example of beating a team and learning nothing. Canada never had a chance and the Tigers did nto learn anything about themselves. Congarts on the win. At least it stopped your losing streak. But not your losing streak to USA teams.

Great win? LMFAO! Confidence builder but at the same time you don't learn anything about yourself against an opponent not used to playing the U.S. game.

Thanks for the congarts and your continued support for Fighting Tiger nation.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- MY ADVICE IS PLEASE REMEMBER WE HAD YOUNGSTOWN MOONEY AND COLUMBUS DESALES LINED UP , BUT THAT FELL THROUGH. PRETTY AGGRESSIVE SCHEDULING ON IRONTON'S PART. I'D THINK. THAT LEFT US SCRAMBLING FOR GAMES AT THE LAST MINUTE. GET A LIFE. DINGBAT.

I withdraw my criticism of scheduling the Canucks, but it's still not a 'great win'.

BOB LUTZ DOES NOT WANT TO SCHEDULE THE CANUCKS. BUT WHEN TEAMS BACK OUT. YOU GOTTA GET WHAT YOU CAN, AND IT HAS TO BE IN THE WEEK, THAT YOU HAVE AN OPEN DATE. THIS WAS SCHEDULED VERY LATE, AVOIDING AN OPEN DATE.

NO IT WAS NOT MOONEY OR DESALES , BUT IT WAS A WIN. WHICH BEATS AN OPEN DATE, OR LOSS. ----------------- NUFF SAID. :aaaaa46 :aaaaa46 :aaaaa46 :aaaaa46 :aaaaa46 :aaaaa46 :aaaaa46 :aaaaa46 :aaaaa46 :aaaaa46 :aaaaa46 :aaaaa46 :aaaaa46 :aaaaa46 :aaaaa46 :aaaaa46 :aaaaa46 :aaaaa46 :aaaaa46 :aaaaa46 :aaaaa46 :aaaaa46 :aaaaa46 :aaaaa46 :aaaaa46 :aaaaa46 :aaaaa46 :aaaaa46 :aaaaa46 :aaaaa46 :aaaaa46 :aaaaa46 :aaaaa46 :aaaaa46 :aaaaa46 :aaaaa46 :aaaaa46 :aaaaa46 :aaaaa46 :aaaaa46 :aaaaa46 :aaaaa46 :aaaaa46 :aaaaa46 :aaaaa46 :aaaaa46 :aaaaa46 :aaaaa46 :aaaaa46 :aaaaa46 :aaaaa46 :aaaaa46 :aaaaa46 :aaaaa46 :aaaaa46 :aaaaa46 :aaaaa46 :aaaaa46 :aaaaa46 :aaaaa46 :aaaaa46 :aaaaa46

OHBUCK,

Thanks for proving my point. ALL the Canadian teams LOSE. Come on get real This is not a worthy opponent. My point is play worthy opponents and learn something about your team. I know you guys need a win. Maybe you can beat a US team this week.
