There you go Sider fans. Minford wants more of the Burg than YOU! 14-7 and all the West people I have talked to say West is so much better because they beat minford 28-7. Minford has it out for BURG PLENTY!! West posters just dont get it! Minford is real good, #41 was missing on offense for the West game and it showed. they had no GUT rushing game. As for Minford getting in, I dont think so. I will give one more example:

demaniac, it would not have mattered if number 41 was there or not, well "definitly not" but do you really think 1 kid can make that much of a difference. The only difference " would have been" another fumble or two. I can really see why minford would rather play burg than WEST, because the score was closer and you have a feeling that you maybe able to beat the burg. I say right now you do not want the burg in a playoff game because that 7 point loss will turn out to be a 3td loss next time.

minford is overated thier offense is to weak and defense is soft west did nothing special don't you get that. we ran the ball up your face for 4 quarters and so did the burg. you guys have played two good teams and lost to both of them. all these excuses tell me that the crows not tasting to good. you are a third place team in the soc not first like we heard all year. remember west had more penalty yards than minford had total offense. i know you guys don't like seeing west on top but you should give credit where credit is do.maybe next year east can come to the soc2 and minford can go to the soc1 than you might be able to back up all this talk.

cry me a river!!!!!! we only had 2- 15 yard penaltys,9 holding,and some 5 yarders for about 140 yards that should tell you how bad minfords offense is. maybe all you minford fans should start backing the soccer team since you think football is to rough

I get so SICK of hearing about West and penalties, I am sure they are the only team in the area that gets unsportsmanlike penalties. The truth is West plays HARD every year because that is the way these boys are raised. They are taught from the time they a "little ones" that if someone pushes, punches, kicks you then you do it back to them. We all know that the one who retailiates is one that always gets caught. Its a way of life on this SIDE and if you don't like it then don't schedule them or don't come over here. There reputation for this goes WAY back and the referees in this area go WAY back also, so don't think they aren't quick with the flag when they see that "W" on the helmet. So if your the burg make sure your helmets are snug, shoulder pads strapped, and cleats on tight because when you come to the ROCK Friday you are going to get HIT that is for sure!!!

I don't know where to start with this one. Sometimes you have to be the bigger man and walk away. Also retaliating is stupid and always gets caught. A disciplined football team does not get penalties like this and eventually the undisciplined team will lose because of it. You don't win a state championship with an undisciplined football team. Listening to West posters this year, it sounds like they are not used to winning. You don't see Wheelersburg fans predicting mega blowouts in game threads or dissing another team. Be respectful of your opponents because things do, and will, change. Good luck to both teams in what will be an incredible game. Burg by 7 or less.

The only troll was the guy defending west for stupid penalties. In the playoffs, one mistake can cost you the game. Disciplined teams have less of a chance of making that critical mistake or getting a silly penalty.

I disagree, they aren't just playing for themselves. They are representing their school, parents and family and their community. When they travel outside the area they are representing the entire area.

so you have no problem with your team committing personel fouls and being flagged for 15yds. Why not try retaliating legally on the next play by doing something that gets your team in the endzone or prevents the other team from getting in the endzone. Don't you think that is more payback then committing a personel foul. Lets be honest when you jump up and hit someone in the facemask with your hand how much does that really hurt that guy, all that does is cost your team 15yds. Thats just not very smart football.

West needs to play disciplined football if they want to go anywhere in the playoffs. West won't be playing teams like they had in the early part of the season. why would west play for this area when all the area does is pick at them when they win if i was playing for west and happened to read what the adult posters from minford and burg were saying i would tell them parts of the area to kiss my a$$.
