I see this as purely entertainment. I certainly don't take it seriously. My mistake, I guess. Beg pardon if I offended anyone's sensibilities. I do enjoy reading the posts, though. Keep it up. Vanilla! Mmmm! Please pass the sprinkles and chocolate syrup!
By the way ... GO BLUE!

I wasn't aware this was an unsafe place. Do I need to be concerned?

As hideous as the outcome of the 2003 and 2004 games were....1995 @ Gallipolis was more heart-breaking.

A bone-headed 15 yard penalty by one of our lineman AFTER a very successful play at a big moment........muffing a kickoff....and then the clincher...with the lead and about 3:15 remaining we send a player back to return a punt deep in our territory...and another muff and Gallipolis recovers and wins again.

I hated that game.

Yeah, that one was rough too. The muffed punt by King is burned into my memory. Couldn't believe that happened. After some of the things that have happened over the last few years, nothing would surprise me on Friday night. It's up to the Ironmen to take care of the football and leave nothing to chance.

Relax 02,

i am telling you Jackson will win the game. As you know i am not a fan of your schedule, but i will tell you this. Your schedule has prepared you well for a game with Gallia in 2008. Enjoy being 5-0. Halfway home to an undefeated season.

Well it seems some posters are not allowed to have good honest opinions about this upcoming game. This poster thinks highly of himself. he overrates himself as much as he overates his beloved Ironton Tigers.

everyone is allowed to have opinions...the post them and then all we hear is the broken record from you about Chieftan envy or 4-peat SEOAL Champs, or how tough your schedule is.... Here is a Pat on the back......

I know some crazy things have happended in this series some I can't explain, I just feel Jackson is playing with confidence and for lack of better terms the "monkey is off their back". You can sesnes the players don't have that feeling of oh no here we go again in the back of their head. I believe Jackson's o-line and d-line will control this game.

02 or Ironman 92- correct me if I am wrong but was is it 1990 when Jackson only had 1 or 2 wins and we went down to Gallia beat them and knocked them out of the playoffs?
Go IRONMEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ocho,

I'm thinking it must have been 1989. Jackson went 3-7 that year, but they defeated Gallia Academy 13-7 in the last game of the season.

Jackson was pretty good in 1990, going 8-2 and sharing the SEOAL title with Athens, GAHS, and Marietta. Pretty crazy year in the SEOAL to have a four way tie for the title.
