Congrats to Logan. Angle is very impressive as well as the "D" and recievers. Good luck the rest of the way.

Congrats to Logan...the came in with the right game plan...and Ironton couldn't defend the pass...as they usually have trouble against a good passing game...

Having said that...Ironton will move on and learn from this game what they need to work on most is pass defense and by playing a good team...they should do better next time....

As far as the touchdown in the corner of the endzone...was right there and not only did he get one foot in...but the other was questionable...only need one in high school...having said that...it didn't matter...but if it would have...that could have been really big...

Ironton played with heart...game plan was questionable...putting tony in at fullback..didn't seem to make much of a difference on offense..but it killed us on the defensive line...hope that is looked at closely before they put him in both ways next week...

good luck logan for a good season...hope you make it past the first round...you really deserve to...you are a good team....

Go Tigers....let's learn from this game and win out....

I like the more humble gentler Tiger 90. Does not make up for all the stuff you posted last week but still a tamed Tiger.

As for Tony, last week you could not be happier he was playing in the back field. Now you question it. I bet all coaches would love your hiundsight.

Also based on several comments 90 made last week i am guessing Logan looked beter on the field than they did on tape.

Ironton could be a much better team. This team is being held back.

what i dont get is why tony when he played at noseguard didnt rush patrick every play is he just that lazy or taught to do that. russell pretty much handled whoever they put in at noseguard last night although he had a few bad snaps he didnt give up any ground on the line congrats to logan good job tigers lets go to week 6

Congrats to the Chiefs on the win. The only thing that can stop Logan from going 10-0 is themselves. If they stay focused and play solid football, the SEOAL title is staying in Logan.

doe the outcome of this game surprise anyone?? heck of a difference in the available talent pool. that's why the state uses divisions. because it does make a difference

Shocking excuse. Didn't see that one coming.

I hate to tell you, but when one team pulls talent from outside the district like Ironton does, it certainly cancels out the size advantage of a bigger school.

You all can't have it both ways. Brag about your transfers all off-season and how "we can't help it, everyone just WANTS to come play for Bob Lutz" and then whine about your size.

This is a perfect example of the state of the Ironton football program. It is no wonder your kids are not as mentally tough as they used to be (as evidenced by all the personal fouls).

When adults spend half their time complaing about officiating, it can ONLY trickle down to the kids.

Officials miss calls in every game for both teams. I could sit and type about 4 or 5 bad calls (one on a touchdown) but what's the point? You can't change it. Move on and make a play.

To brag before this game on the talent Ironton has but then now use it as an excuse. This is why some people just do not care for the bragging done by some Ironton posters. They make statements before a game and if they lose they now have to look for a reason for not winning. Some just can not accept the fact they have lost a game. Just like the Wheelersburg game where the final score has not changed since the end of the game. Maybe some of this bragging gets into the players heads and they do not play their best on game day.

The size difference was there when Ironton rejoined the league so that excuse is just that an excuse. When many brag about we play anyone no matter how big. Then do not turn it around when you lose. Ironton got beat by a better team last night.

One sobering thought for Ironton fans is that at this rate, Logan could surpass Ironton in the Ironton/Logan series by the year 2019

yeah you are right Kantucky. But hear this Amyx leads in head to head with Lutz. And really seems to own the once proud
tigers. ironton has NOT defeated Logan since 1990.
