Don't know what weeks but from the WVSAA Site http://www.wvssac.org/new_site/wvssac_w ... otball.htm:

Buffalo HS needs games 8/29/08, 9/19/08 and 10/17/08. Contact Linda Thaxton at 937-2661 ext. 13.

Chesapeake HS has an open date for week 5 (9/25/09). Division V school in southeast Ohio with a total enrollment of approximately 430 students. Would consider a multi-year agreement but this first date needs to be a home game. Contact Larry Morgan AD at 740-867-1107 or email larry.morgan@peake.k12.oh.us

Cambridge HS, OH needs home or away game 9/12/08. Contact Dve Gray at 740-435-1104.

Coal Grove HS, OH has an opening 9/19/08. One or two year contract possible. Contact Coach Jay Lucas at 740-532-6345 ext. 1362 or jlucas_db@scoca-k12.org

Federal Hocking HS, Stewart, OH needs a varsity game 9/12 or 9/13/08. Contact Bob Springer at 740-662-6691 ext. 132.

Nelsonville York needs games 9/5/08 and 10/17/08. Contact Dave Boston at 740-753-6230.

Good Luck on the search :!:

cavalierfan95,

I am riding with a group and the vehicle is full, but let me see if I can get you all a ride with someone. PM this week.

I think our CAVS win big this week too, if they continue to play as they have been doing.

One game at a time CAVS :!:

GO CAVS :!: :-D

Saunders only went out for one play. It was a punt and Kyle Dingess came in and long snapped on the play.

Clint Saunders left the game early in the first with a nagging quad. He didn't return tell late in the third. Meanwhile junior center Nick Roach filled in. Saunders also hasn't practiced yet this week due to pulled quad. I've heard he will return to play friday night.

the keys to a blue devil victory

1. contain and pressure caleb knights by mixing up different blitzing sceames

2.offensive production with a good mix of run and pass

3. no penalties -the devils had countless drives that were stalled because of penalties the game with portsmouth could have easily been 35-0 if the blue executed so the devils must be mentally ready and focused if they want to pull the upset in chillicothe friday night

4.special teams-have a sound kicking game...the punt is the most important play in football

ill take gallia in an upset 30-28

If they need boys to fill out the roster, head to the skate park at Haskins Park in Gallipolis! There's always a ton of fit, scrappy kids hanging out there who could fill a uniform!

What are you thinking Familyof3……? Or maybe you are not thinking….. Why would anyone post something about a player’s injury…..? Are you a doctor??? Where are you getting your information…? I am sure the parents and the coaches of the player mentioned are thrilled to be reading personal medical information about their son that probably isn’t true.. You don’t have a clue what his injury is or what the recovery time will be… He may practice tonight & Thursday……. Friday is 2 days away and you say he is starting….. Are you a Coach also???? You sound like a disgruntled parent trying to get more playing time for your son …

GAHS7462…. There is a difference in missing practice for an injury/illness and just missing practice. You will not loose your starting assignment because of an injury…If a player is cleared to play Fri, then he plays….. Why all the confusion. The coaches & parents discussed all this before the season started…

Superblue... No I am not a coach nor a doctor just a parent of a STARTER who has plently of playing time! Therefore not a disgruntled parent.

The information came from players on the team who received their information at practice while getting their anticipated assignments for Friday night. I agree that anything can happen in two days with practice and rest.

As for your concern about posting about players` injury I believe injuries and player status are posted on the forum all the time.
