PLAY to WIN WARRIORS!!!

DARE to have CONFIDENCE!

DARE to have COURAGE!

DARE to SUCCEED!

YOU MISS 100% of the SHOTS YOU do NOT take!!!

I just think kids feed off their coaches... Don't get me wrong - a great group of fellas working the sidelines at Warren... but where is the confidence in the players to make plays!?! Take a chance on 'O' guys - change tendencies... run a reverse...

Champions are confident - border line cocky - but they win.

Last big road upset I remember was @ Jackson back when they were real real good... maybe '98?

MAKE A PLAY WARRIORS!

That's right. Logan and Jackson shared the title that year thanks to the Warriors. Logan lost at home to Jackson, but the Warriors upset gave Logan a share of the title.

Warren is better than in the past, but the Chiefs are still the top dog in the SEOAL.

i really hope the warren warriors dont plan on giving the ball to wellspring 25+ times and expect to do great things. they HAVE to be balanced when it comes to who gets carries. Late in drives, teams have seemingly been able to guess what Warren will do and they stuff the play. spread the ball around!

our best offensive out put was when the coach spreads the ball out to coffman dunfee and wellspring...not just wellspring. last week was a great example...dunfee and coffman had less than 10 carries combined and the ground game didnt do a whole lot...i think like 150 yards total. compared to 300 the previous week vs meigs...thats not good.

what im saying is the kids believe they can win. but its gonna take more than heart. the coaches HAVE to step up and start making good calls on the offensive side of the ball. try to open things up more.

pass on first down..
run a reverse ore even a screen. they cant just expect to grind the game out bewteen the tackles.

sorry if people disagree...this is just a rant from a fan who thinks they can succeed but knows it need to start on the sidelines

I remember the 1998 Jackson-Warren game all too well. The Ironmen had the ball 1st and goal inside the Warren 10 early in the 4th quarter trailing 18-15. Jackson would eventually have 4th and goal from the 2, so they elected to kick the FG. Blankenship's attempt was wide. The Ironmen would get another chance late in the game, but a 40 yard FG attempt came up just a couple feet short. Warren then got a couple first downs and ran out the clock. The Warriors played a great game that night, but the loss proved to be costly for the Ironmen. They went 9-1 and still shared the SEOAL title after defeating Logan the next week in a great game, but they finished 5th in the computer rankings (only took 4 per region back then) and missed the playoffs by .0024 points. That was a Jackson team that had a very good defense. I honestly believe they could have made a nice run in the playoffs, but they didn't take care of business against Warren and never got that chance.

I, and others have had this same concern as the season has progressed. Not everyone disagrees with you. I would say that most AGREE with you, but they are winning. Sometimes you need to turn around and look at yourself from the outside. Someone told me to scout yourself periodically.

Go get for it boys!

Well BB if that is true why did Warren drop Zville? Maybe there speed cant contend with Zville?LOL

I think the differences between the Portsmouth defense and the Meigs defense had more to do with the Warren struggles than the lack of spreading the ball around to other backs.

anyway

score predictions anyone?

Logan 42
Warren 7

Isn't Zville leaving the league?? Who is dropping who?? They have more than once made it clear that playing Warren was beneath them in all sports.

zbd: LOL all you want, but Zanesville dropped out of the SEOAL (not the other way around) and Warren is not interested in playing a 6th away game at Zanesville next year. We only had 4 home games this year and it stinks. Thanks for your participation in the Logan/Warren thread.

Logan wins this game easily, 49-0. Logan will dominate and will have to call off the horses before halftime.

Logan has horses, but they are much more versatile this year. They get the ball out on the wings much more than they did in years passed. It won't be a slobbernocker by any means, I could see 4 or 5 plays of 60+ yards.

Like I said before this will not be a shutout. If Logan gets up big some of the third string will get in. Good ball players but still young.

I dont think so I never herd of anyone saying Warren was beneath us we have no right to say that we had our first winning season last year in a decade so how can we say we are better then anyone. For more info we were going to come there next year. It would have been on a home at home contract. They were going to say yes until the beat down got put on them by Zville

zbd,

Z'ville's speed was not what hurt us in the Warren-Z'ville fb game. It was us that hurt us.

1. We shot ourselves in the foot inside the red zone on 3 different occasions, couldn't finish those nice drives.

2. Miscommunication in the defensive backfield. Allowing three passing tds to occur.

So, it wasn't Z'ville's blazing/amazing speed that did us in!

As for dropping you guys, you'd have to check with our AD.

I was not saying it was our speed that beat you missed it, it was a knock on your comment that your team was getting up to speed. Zville is not a fast team at all in fact they may be slow in terms of past Zville teams. Also the Information I stated was from your AD!!!
