They normally play Minford tough and even a couple years ago pulled the upset over Minford with it being their only win I believe. I know I would love to see Northwest pull an upset either this or next if not both to help East with second level points. However Minford needs these wins just as bad to stay in the playoffs as they are sitting at the 8th seed right now.

WRONG.

When Northwest did beat Minford in 2005, 15-12, it was the year Northwest had a loaded senior class and finished 4-5. Minford finished 3-7.

Minford just needs to focus on this game, this week, and focus on the BASICS. Take care of the ball, solid tackling, blocking, etc.

Take care of business the next 2 weeks and there will be a chance to revenge the losses to Burg and West in the playoffs.

I think i would have to take northwest 21-18 before i took minford:345634623636236 nw:12
it is just a bit outlandish don't you think........in fact i don't believe in the next 100 years all the football scores from every game ever played would equal a number 1/4 of that size!

Do you seriously think NW has any chance in this game, Minford is way to much for NW.

Minford 41
Northwest 13

Minford is still a very good team and NW is not. Mismatch, Minford offense rolls!

Northwest's only win this season came against Manchester High School, who is win-less on the season and recently lost 96-20 to a 1-5 (i think) team in Middletown Christian. Minford will absolutely annihilate the Mohawks. 2nd string in by 2nd quarter. Minford wins 54-13

Nino, Manchester hasnt even played Middletown Christian yet. They do this week. The team you are thinking of is Grove City Christian. Anyways, about this game, Minford wins in a really boring game. Go team Go

The falcon starters get a much needed rest this week after a couple very tough games the last two weeks. Time to heal heading into week 10.

Falcons 42
Mohawks 7

Game Day! I trust that DEFENSE was the topic of practice this week and that the Mohawks will focus on keeping themselves in this game and learning to compete!

I believe that the mohawks will have their hands full tonight but if everyone on the defense will sustain their assignment and the offense can produce some results and stay focused and fight to the very last second then i think they should be able to provide some what of a competition

Sorry young dollar bill sign, but I think(and am sure most other posters on here do as well)that NW will not even provide competition in tonights ball game. Heck I may be wrong but from watching Minford and knowing how NW plays, Minford will come out on top!! :-D

Good luck to #10 for Northwest. Hope he is ok. I have to give Northwest some credit. They played hard the whole game and really hit hard. #68 and #44 are both players. They worked hard all night. Also, #1 for Northwest had a couple of the hardest hits I've seen all year. He is :122246 a head hunter out there. How big is he anyway? He played bigger than he looks.
Another good win Minford! Take care of Valley next week and hopefully another chance with the Burg is in the future. But remember, Valley is first!!!!!
