That's just like you, boogerred, to turn a nice classical reference into a pop culture one.

Give me a 4-2, and I'll run the midline 60 times with a 4.2 ypc.

Against a 4-2, you'll probably average a bit more than 4.2 YPC...

Much anger I sense in you. Much anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering.
That's just MHO
However, nobody will believe me, anyway, so what's the difference?
I think I shall call you Cassie from now on. I like it. Cassie. LOL.

PIGSKIN JUNKIE wrote:Why all the hate on the coaching staff here? Huck knows his defense and Coach Mc is a good fit there. He paid his dues over the years with various coaches and has hung in there for the kids! At the end of the day its about what you are teaching these young men. Dont try to analyze something you know nothing about!

GO RAIDERS...GET A WIN THIS WEEKEND AND END YOUR SEASON ON A HIGH NOTE!

Honestly!
NO HATE! But why would this Defensive staff stay in a defense that can't stop sweeps or outside counters?
It has happened every game it is so simple to beat this team! Every team runs the same plays to beat this defense. Why don't they try a different defense and teach the kids to tackle below the chest.
Sorry! but a kindergarten kid could analyze this defense,Dude it isn't the kids it is the system, why don't they try to run a 5-2 or 5-3 at least cover up all the linemen and have contain by the ends? AT LEAST Try something different?
Is Coach Deel still Running this team?

Blue_nd_Gray:

Better be careful there.

If you try to actually talk football on here at a level of sophistication beyond that of the following statements:

Good luck, team
or
My team is better
or
Go out with a win for the start of next year!

you will be labeled as a "kid hater," and sarcastically as a "coaching genius" by some of the coaches posting on here anonymously.

That's okay, post away blue and gray! They say the same stuff about me on here, and i just laugh!

By the way, it's 4-4 or bust baby!

I would rather take a chance to improve (and possibly fall short) than just sit there and take my medicine by being stubborn and saying, I ain't changing nothing!

I'm digging my way to something better!

Thanks Dan!
And coming from someone like you who has plenty of Football knowledge!!!
I know what you mean.
I hate no kids at all,i like the coaches it just seems like they are stuck in the mud with this defense???? The offense while falling in love a bit with the passing game (because of the inexperience of the O-line and injuries i guess) Looks
quits good! I have no beef with the offensive side of the ball and a lot of the same kids play defense. It is just not working and hasn't for the last 3 years. It pains me to watch these kids drive 85 yards and score then go on defense and give up a 80 yard td run on the 2nd play from scrimmage???? It happens every week! Is that football? Yes! BAD FOOTBALL!

The 4-4 can be a good defense if you know how to run it. But you can't just line-up in the traditional 8-8 look and stay there all game.

you have to move people around and not always go with a cover 3. I had one defensive coordinator actually tell me that it was impossible to go with a Cover 2 in a 4-4.

Really? I can show you the playbooks where I have seen the way to do it. Of course, I have been accused of being a geek for reading too much. :122248

RV ran a 5-3 the last 3 weeks. Looks like the lower level coach needs to learn a little. Maybe someday I will grow up to be a coaching icon like the rest of the guys on this sight.

It is a Web site, as in a place to go, a location.

Do you see what I mean by the standard reply to anything other than "Go Team?" It is like kindergarten, isn't it? Name-calling instead of thoughtful discussion?

I apologize to the world for writing sight instead of site. Football and grammar coach, only if I could be as great. If you have such a problem with me, then meet me at the game today and we can have this conversation face to face because I am done with the arguments on here!!!!!!!!
