He played in the Ashland game . I heard he quit but who knows. If he hurt his back he needs to not come back until it heals. Back and head injuries are not one to take lightly.
He has practiced this week.

Kittycannon makes it up as he goes. He has to try and justify why he thinks Ironton is so much better. It's not his first time making stuff up. Don't look too far into it.

Why is it a licensed official would post his personal opinions online about local football teams. School districts contract and pay these crews for their services. During the season, the coach and athletic director will rate these officials for post season tournament games. Why is it a registered official can post his opinions on local football teams, when the OHSAA prohibits coaches for stating their opinion of officials?

Your information is completely inaccurate! If you would like to share observations, I would be more than happy to discuss the six penalty flags, you threw during your week 5 game. I am also sure Rock Hill Athletic Director, Barry Litteral, would love to read your posts about the Redmen before he sends out contracts for next years football season. :122249
Ouch! That's very interesting.

Now the truth comes out as to why Ironton has been so unstoppable at home for all of these years.

I don't know enough about how the points work. is it mathematically possible if ironton wins out to make the playoffs from where they stand in the region now. I realize everybody else ahead of us plays 3 more games as well.and we'll need help. if ironton can play a complete game. and execute the fundamentals. they have the talent to win out. which would be an awesome feat to reach the playoffs considering their start to their season. anybody can get hot week 11. but right now the opponent is rock hill. and I'm dang proud of em. they could have folded like a cheap tent after a week 1 blowout from river valley. but they circled the wagons and went on the attack. I knew they were for real when they beat Chesapeake. I'm proud as a peacock of em. and dang pround my fighting tigers went claws up and started beating people up again. I think this will be a close game. and the crowd will be enourmous home and away.

irontons opponents to date before the game tonight have a 43-28 record. but we had that very bad start.
rock hill's opponents to date before the game are currently 29-34,so ironton has definitely played the toughest schedule to date. but roll down the winders and throw all that in the dumpster now. cause it's on like donkey kong.

I think RH still qualifies if they win 2/3 of their last games.
Tigers definitely have to win out & should get the 7or 8 spot If they win out.

I just spent some time on the cell doing some research for div 5, region 17.
I came up with a general scenario for most of the teams & gave more info on teams I felt had chances to qualify or take themselves out of week 11;

I think RH still qualifies if they win 2/3 of their last games.

As far as the rest of the other 10-12 schools hoping to grab spot 6.7 &,8 here is a general scenario of what it all boils down to: I think COSHOCTON should win out & fill one of the 3-spots. They have a huge rivalry game with DOVER div.3 (3-4) @ home. This is a huge rivalry & the schedules do not matter. I've seen COSHOCTON unbeaten before, only to Read later about Dover winning by 30 points!
COSHICTON closes out with 2 div, 4 schools with identical records of 1-4.
The other teams hoping to get in have these scenarios:
1. Several go through unbeaten Wheekersburg or its over.
2. Wellston must go through vastly improving ATHENS & MEIGS & one of these losses does them in. They close with a division 4 school who is 1-6.
3. All of the others below must win out. They all have victories against winless teams or 1-6 squads. The majority of their schedules also end with division 6 & 7 squads with very few wins. Only RIVER VALLEY plays division 3, 4, & 7 teams with a Combined record of 6-15. They also must face Athens.
IRONTON has the most points to gain for the games against ROCK HILL, SOUTH POINT, & CHESAPEAKE!
Of course, IRONTON Must play 4 solid quarters of FB , stopping unsportsmand LIKE CONDUCT PENALTIES, From leaders on the team who are frustrated & even penalties against the SIDELINE activity & THE COACHES! They have got to punt better. Seriously, backwards punts? They've also got to punch in for a TD After a 7 minute sustained 75 yard drive in the redzone!!!
@ least now we know we can kick FG's & X-Pt thanks to the soccer player from IRONTON SAINT JOSEPH HIGH SCHOOL, that came over to play for this position only. Thanks OHSAA! (See @ OHSAA.org for rules on this.

The IHS D IS TUFF. Keep doing what you're doing &watch for short 7 yard passes right over the line on a quick snap!

The general scenario I mentioned Above applies to these teams specifically:

WEST LAFAYETTE RIDGEWOOD
COSHOCTON
MINFORD
RIVER VALLEY
OSK HILL
WELLSTON
MARTINS FERRY (play a game tonight worth no points in Ohio, so I think they could be out because of this)
WEST PORTSMOUTH NORTHWEST
TUSKY VALLEY
BELMONT UNION LOCAL
IRONTON
WEST PORTSMOUTH WEST
PIKETON
PORTSMOUTH
SUGARCREEK GARAWAY.
There is only 3 points between 16th & 8th place. With the scenario mentioned , anything could happen!!!

As far as the 'DINO comment from an earlier poster that he had practiced all week. I cannot confirm this. My father who is passed away(R.I.P. Dad) his old buddies usually go to all of the practices & only one went Wednesday & 'DINO was nowhere to be seen. He asked an assistant coach he knows & coach said he practiced a bit & was having PT on Thursday & outlook was positive. May still hold out until last game of season, unless staff felt he was needed.
GOTIGERSGO!!!
Get the ball
Get the ball
Get the ball
Get the ball
Get the ball!!!

Have a good time BAIT!!! You're NOT bad luck to our Fighting Tigers. Think positive & youll bring Positive to you!!!
Wished I was there too.
Are you going to stop @ your Ironton home or drive on north?!!!
While driving by my childhood home pray I once recide @ 410 Jeannine Street once again! What a great neighborhood & childhood we had!!!

bait the TIGERS will get spot # 8 IMO with 3 more wins!!! as for this game the ONLY way RH will win is with 25-30 passes and from looking at the QB stats he only throws 3-5 passes per game!!

GO TIGERS
im gonna up the score to 42-17
