Waverly is region 16 again this year last year they were in 15 and and moved back to 16 this year we are # 2 right now in region 16 and if we stay #2 we would play one of the 2 first #15 and #18 will play and who ever wins that we will play them
Coaches seed the teams but I hope they use the computer rankings as a guide. Some people think they will seed some of the Cincy teams over the Tigers - I hope the give credence to the computer.
25 teams in the region means the 1 seed will likely receive a bye. No idea yet how they will draw up the brackets.
I'm one that thinks they could be jumped by 2-3 Cincy teams. When you look at that region and for coaches voting I think it's going to be hard to overlook some of those big name schools vs Waverly given history. I mean you've got a team like Wyoming, state champs, Indian Hill another that just dominated Waverly few yrs back in the playoffs, Clinton Massie a perennial powerhouse is another in the way. I think Waverly stays top 4 but I do worry it's going to be tough for coaches who know those teams so well and closer to their area to put Waverly ahead of those teams.

He would certainly make the team even better.
I think they are aiming for having him back for the playoffs, given that Waverly has a bye the first week. Even if he only plays one side, the depth will be nice.

Are we certain to get a bye?

I believe you should land a bye and then play at home in week 2 of the playoffs.

As long as waverly plays like they have been they wont do as bad as some think in this region i see them winning 3 games if they stay healthy and the running game continues to get better
