Both teams are conditioned and at max strength at this point. The day game is awful. Wish this was the feature on Saturday night. Did kirtland play a day game this year? I wonder how it affects the players?

They have size advantage for sure. We are small but don’t underestimate their strength because they are small. These guys live in the weight room
Size is overrated in high school football Unless you can really move at that size. Leverage and anticipation I think is more important

The Shaker Heights game was a day game

No. We played just as good that day as we have with our night games. Didn’t see any issues. That was a 7-3 game at the half but we did what we do more often than not in the second half. We had 410 yards total 377 of it on the ground. I would agree on wishing it was the night game though. I like watching football more when they are night games. This is probably one of the more anticipated games. They should have put it at night

Confirmed. All games moved to Massillon due to Franklin county’s stay at home order. At least they aren’t cancelled I suppose. Hoban has to win with Massillon playing at home. I’m sure they don’t care as long as it gets played

Now going to be tough for most from Ironton and SEO that make the trip to the game to make it home in time to avoid the curfew...

Lol we had no say so in this. We’d come to tank stadium if we could. Hell it’s a home game for Massillon. Be glad they aren’t just cancelled all together

Ironton just got hosed. They lose a whole day of practice and have to make travel arrangements. It may not affect the game but what a dumb distraction.

Blame the Buckeyes. It’s their county. It’s either cancel or take what stadium you can use on a moments notice. We don’t care where it’s at. If they would have moved it to tanks, we’d stroll right on down

Home game for kirtland. The decision is stupid if you compare numbers by counties. So ironton has to now either scramble for buses and hotels 2 days before the game or make a long trip up early in the morning and long drive back home.

No way, could you imagine the players having the games canceled now, they would be devastated after making it this far. I’m sure the players are thankful they still get to play for a State Championship.

I say cancel, strip st x, and we’ll resume with whoever makes it next year or just let us come to tanks and everyone be happy. We don’t care where we go

Learning to deal with and manage dissapointment is a great learning opportunity.
