The big cover up. Wonder if the neighboring coach is helping out too, maybe called off the local authorities?
The beauty of small town politics.

Not a learning experience if it is covered up and there is no discipline.

Uh no, it’s a dead issue. Like it or don’t like it, learn to live with it.

I don't really care what happens with the coaching situation. I was pointing out that the legal proceedings were taking place and that would tell the story. Just because the school moved forward doesn't mean the legal stuff will stop. I see now what happened yesterday. Understand now? Geesh. Also if you think its a "dead issue" for everyone, you are sadly mistaken. It will always be around unfortunately.

I was responding to your legal term comment. As already stated, its a dead issue.

Serious question about this whole thing bc it seems there was a "drug charge" within all this. Can someone with real knowledge verify if that's still the case and if so how can a school district just overlook that? OMVI may be one thing that can be written off as a learning experience and a mistake and yadda yadda yadda; but if there was an actual charge for something drug related; which has been said to me by many people; then how? How can it be just passed over?? If its not then I apologize for the pressing question about it bc I am just asking about something that was brought to my attention several times. And I know its public record but I dont care enough to look; was just wondering why it would be pushed aside if its out there and how anyone can be ok with it. Unless I was given wrong info; OVI due to drugs and or alcohol and expired tags.

Where else could this happen and it be swept under the rug? Of course when the political powers hand pick the coach they have to do whatever they can to protect him. Hope it all works out for them, but it's not a good start fer sure.

Just not a good look at all imo. I understand we all make mistakes and such but as a person in a position of influence, just isnt a good look to act as if.....

Coach and his staff have done more in the last 5 months than what was done in the last 5 years. The only thing that has changed was the HC and a few staff members. Numbers are up, players have come back to join the team, some coaches are back, excitement among the coaches/players and parents are high. Doesn’t take a smart individual to figure out what needed changed, but then again it’s the same people talking out their a55 about a situation they think they know something about.
So coach did nothing wrong. I do t know anything about anything on this thread except that you are very defensive about it all. Was it like a speeding ticket and everyone just taking a story and running with it?
