TVC Ohio 2016

How do the Spartans look this Summer? It is going to be tough to replace 22 seniors from last year, but I believe in Coach Penrod.

Yep, as far as I know it is tonight at Jackson. They also have one at Home on Saturday against Warren I believe.

Big news, Athens high school is finally getting repaved. Been since 93bulldog was in school. They even paved the gravel lot

I also heard the Bucks looked good. Quicker and stronger. If the line can catch up with the skill guys mentally and physically this team will be pretty good. Teams are usually a reflection of their leadership. That has been lacking

I didn't stay but it looked like Athens was practicing with Philo. Athens looked pretty big

Philo showed up in the morning, I didn't get to see them. Belpre looked pretty darn good, but I expected the Golden Eagles to have explosive skill players this season - which plays into a 7-on-7 competition. Athens looked o.k., but opposite of Belpre, I think Athens strength will show up once the pads are put on. 7-on-7 is not their cup off tee this year. Trimble, as always, had athletes on the field. Their QB is small but looks to be a pretty good athlete and Hooper on the outside looks a lot like Dickleman of Athens at WR.

I saw a few of them the other day. I think Athens may have the best Oline and Dline in the TVC going into the season.

I wasn't able to make it to Athens last night to the 7 on 7. Heard there were supposed to be a lot of teams. Who was there and how did everyone look?

Ny did look like superman that night. They even had 2 split teams that night. I was there that night.
How did it go at Athens?

Not knocking just saying NY with the talent they have should look good in that 7 on 7. Didn't think it's good to do 7 on 7 against other teams in the Ohio. Who did they scrimmage at Athens?

I agree, look fro N/Y to have a record of 6-4 or at best 7-3 New Coach and system!
