No YTB it was not you it was a man sitting right behind me at the game. and some others.... It is one thing to say hold on to the ball but more than that is pushing it, and there was way more than that said. Not to mention singling out one kid when they all have done it!!!!!

It seems to get worse every year instead of appreciating the job they have done this year and over the years past the criticize.
I was at the Ironton Kenton game and there was a group of fans criticizing Lutz for his subbing of the players forget this man has forgot more football than the entire stadium put together.
But then again success breeds spoiled people who do not take into account that these are still High school kids.
And for those who said this is not a very good team go ask them teams that never made the playoffs or have lost their first round game if they would like to be a not so good Ironton team right now?

-----------i don't wanna stir up anything, but if this is infact true. if you people can't see how unfair the southern teams get treated, you are blind. if true, this is nothing more than trying to put the game in a location they think will affect attendance.

WELL GUESS WHAT BROTHER, IT JUST MAKES THEM TIGERS EVEN MORE ILL TEMPERED , AS WELL AS THE FANS

I know what you mean if they are so unhappy with the Tigers then why dont they stay home. These kids are a group of great kids. lets go Tigers lets shut these negative folks up. Whoever is being so negative do us all a favor and stay home.

At this point I think we would expect nothing less from the OHSAA. Im just surprised they didnt put us closer to them.

NY, thats about halfway which common sense would say yea thats best place to play, but we are dealing with the OHSAA where common sense is well uncommon.

We complain when we go on 93, now we are complaining because it's closer to them? Who cares. Play the game.

I, for one, am excited for a trip up 23 as opposed to 93/32.

I think its just Ironton that gets the short end. Really though its just the fans that whine, but we whine yet still go. Players they dont care because it just means they get an extra week to play.

Columbus hates southern Ohio anyway. I know they wish they could annex us to Kentucky or West Virginia. Makes me want to win a state title even more. Go Tigers Go!!!!!!!!!!

I know I do care and so does the boys that means more time on a bus. Not to mention it is more gas money for me and more for the school district to have to shell out. NOT FAIR!!!!

Not trying to make excuses, but when you have such a large region and Ironton is located on the southern tip of Ohio doesn't it seem you guys always might have to travel a bit more? If you were the higher seed how far would Johnstown had to travel? Probably Jackson which would be about the opposite of this distance? Good luck Sat!
