Will this be the first time grove has ever hosted a first round playoff game?
Yes this is the first time CG has hosted. Hoping for a huge local crowd rooting an area team on!

As far as I know, this is the first time the Hornets have hosted a playoff game

yep, first time hosting. I'll have the game live again on Facebook.com/coalgrovelive if you want to come check it out or can't make the game Friday night. Grove just has too many weapons. If power game isn't getting it done, they can spread it out and get their quick kids in space.
Grove wins by a score.

I think Coal Grove is the Dark Horse in this region... they’re gaining their momentum at the right time. I can very well see a Coal Grove / Nelsonville York regional final. The whole attitude of the team has done a 180 from the previous years. They are confident and fully trust their coach and his system. Good luck Grove!!

I agree. The only thing that could keep this really close is if CG starts off slow again. The past few weeks it has taken them a quarter to get rolling. Would love to see CG go to the regional final.

Watched Coal Grove vs Fairland on Facebook and it looks like Coal Grove and Fort Frye are very similar on offense. I think the wing-t Power game is going to give Shenandoah problems. Fort Frye runs wing T and ran for 300 on the Zeps.

Why does 77 not get in a stance on defense?

Does it matter? It's not illegal. Maybe it's his best chance to do his work.

Maybe it's easier to get his 360 plus pounds moving, from an upright position.

It’s easier to block man standing like that. I know it ain’t illegal just not common for an interior lineman.

True, what he lacks in quickness he makes up for in strength. I think he placed top 3 in the state last year in powerlifting. He is a run stop machine.

Also, fairyland game was very sloppy game to watch. Lots and lots of penalties for both teams and got a little hectic at the end with the clock not working..

If CG wins, I will take in their round two game.

As for this one I do think CG will win, but think it is going to be one of those games, where points are few and the game will be within one score.
