I wouldn't count the chickens too fast. The Devils should have their hands full with an improving Logan each week.

Beat me to it.

Zanesville is probably the best team on Logan's schedule. They already beat Tri-Valley. Jackson would be an interesting matchup. If Sheridan is healthy they might beat ZHS now, but the Sheridan team Logan faced would lose to ZHS.

So this will be a good test for Logan. Where have real improvements been made and where is there still work to be done? Hopefully an injury free game regardless.

It's a weird series.

Zanesville won the first 9 games - and 8 in a row from 1991-1998.

Then Logan won 10 straight from 1999-2009 (no game in 2003).

Zanesville has now won the last four (2010, '13, '14, and '18).

The teams will not play next year.

I would agree. Zanesville is the best team on Logan’s schedule and it’s highest ranked Pasteur team at #99. Blue Devils beat Tri-Valley 28-18.

Without looking up exact numbers the scoring is lopsided, with Zanesville scoring over 500 points and Logan over 300 points.

Agreed.

I'd love to play Jackson, Athens, Chilli, and Zanesville every year.

2020 Schedule:
VS Jackson
AT Teays Valley
AT Sheridan
VS Warren
VS Chillicothe (Technically no contract last I knew)
VS Athens (Technically no contract last I knew)
AT St. Charles
AT Meigs
VS Maysville
AT Hamilton Twp.

So Warren is back on the schedule and St. Charles replaces Zanesville. Logan has never played St. Charles.

I've heard Logan is finally getting healthy. If so, look out.

Logan plays Athens week 6 next year. It’s a contract game. They only did two year extension on the 4 because Logan might get in a league at some point

Yeah, last time I talked to folks at Logan was in Jan-Feb. There was some real hope a league might be coming together. I think they largely have contingencies with everyone on the back half of the schedule to have the flexibility to move into a league at any point if the opportunity comes up.

So I fully expect Chilli week five and Athens week six, and they might even be signed. I haven't followed up in 6-8 months.

That’s good. If Logan joins a league might move the game to week 1. Also there is the possibility of the Ohio adding another school so no week 6 bye
