1. Newark Catholic- Because, well, they're NC.
2. East Knox- Only loss is to a 4-0 D6 team.
3. River, Hannibal- Only loss is to a 4-0 D5 team.
4. Eastern, Reedsville- Finally almost 100% and will be hitting on all cylinders by playoff time.
5. Waterford- We beat them.
6. Trimble- A dropped pass and us not being 100% got them the win. Won't happen in round 2.
7. Berne Union- 4-0
8. Frontier- 4-0
You are right on about two of these and that’s Newark catholic and east Knox. Waterford would beat eastern a second go around and Berne union and frontier are terrible
Berne Union > Eastern and Waterford

What about Hannibal River, any chance they can make some noise in the playoffs?

How do we know what Frontier is? They returned a ton and Qb is really good. They have not played anyone to know what they are.

They’re always tough, but I don’t see them winning this region.

Amazingly Frontier's first game against an ohio playoff team will be their opening playoff game. Sad. 🙄

Schedule is bad but that program started turning around last year. JD Schmidt is a good Qb. They also have a big line and a big RB.

28-14 reminds me of the score when the wildcats beat the tomcats in 2016 to end their tvc win streak and take over the crown of the hocking
If you’re going to try to remember the past, why don’t you tally up the series and see who is on top? I believe you’ll find something like 18-6, of course favoring the Tomcats, but who’s counting?

River has their first test since Bellaire this week against a solid Barnesville team, should be a good game to see who they have.

Latest AP:

DIVISION VII
1. Marion Local (4-0) 190 [19]
2. Lucas (4-0) 149
3. Fort Loramie (4-0) 113
4. Tri-Village (4-0) 104
5. Glouster Trimble (4-0) 96
6. Arlington (4-0) 91
7. Lima Central Catholic (3-1) 83
8. Warren JFK (3-1) 69 [1]
9. Malvern (4-0) 68
10. Dalton (3-1) 23
Others: Eastern 14, Frontier 12, Leetonia 12

The voters continue to show it is only about wins and losses. Don't sleep on East Knox, they are a very physical team. IMO, it is either them or Newark Catholic that gets out of R27 this year. Danville is coming, but still a year away.

Waterford got beaten down by Eastern. I realize it's fun for the fans to say, "we'll get you next time," but I guarantee you the players from Waterford want no part of another physical beating like what they received last Friday. Their cheap shots toward the end of the game was as an attempt to get back at the Eagles for beating them up so much.

Waterford would welcome a rematch with Easton.
Turnovers done us in.
Eastern has some big boys, as far as the beat down, I dont see it.
I heard of cheap shots in the pile by eastern.
One kid had both cheap shots you speak of.

Blah blah blah...This year ...yes...well probably....but still waiting to hear the storied history of this Ohio powerhouse or is it just this group of young men who have put together a few decent seasons(And I KNOW they are not in a league)it was sarcasm from an earlier post....

Coach Huck has turned this program around. They’ve made playoffs 7 of 8 seasons. Coach Huck is 103-32 since taking over in 09.

Sadly, you’re right about that. To not have East Knox in there, that’s crazy. Obviously we know Marion Local will be the ones that come out on top, but my second pick would be East Knox and third would be Lima Central Catholic.
