VC has beaten a lot of good teams over the years. I would say it’s hardly a first.

meadowbrook is better then vinton county but neither one of them as far as the class of this region. meadowbrook wins because of that offense but i will be shocked if it is a running clock meadowbrook defense is not great.

VC just needs to play their style of football and control the clock. VC has the athletes to compete and I believe they will have success at the line of scrimmage with Meadowbrook. VC definitely doesnt want a shootout. The weather looks to be favoring the Vikes style of play. Anything can happen all we need is a chance.

I guess I was meaning recently. Say the last 10 years. Not meaning the entire history of the program. Sorry, should've been more specific

Teams that have tried to grind it out on the ground have not fared well against the Colts. The defense is better than advertised. Looking forward to a good game.

Meadowbrook has a huge senior class that starts 9 seniors on defense. Vinton County hasn’t played a team with the speed Meadowbrook has. Their defense is much better than people think. It will be close early but Meadowbrook will run away with a running clock in 4th quarter. Meadowbrook has built a program, this playoff game will be this senior class 7th playoff game.
No disrespect to Vinton county I think they are trending in the right direction, if it wasn’t for the expanded playoffs, they would t be in.

How many teams has Meadowbrook faced this year that run the wing t/bone?

MeadowBrooke defense may not be great but they’ll look great Friday. Vinton offense will make any average defense look great. Just my thoughts

Meadowbrook has played 3 wing T teams.

Coshocton 5-4 beat 42-21 playoff team

Mayesville 3-7 beat beat 42-25

Mogadore 7-3 lost 42-24

Mind you Mogadore has made the playoffs the last 21 straight years with a state championship.

You are right. Mogadore is a different animal.

For my friends from VC. Unless they've done major remodeling since the last time I was at Meadowbrook, get there early, for two reasons. If you do not arrive early, you are going to have to park a long way from the field and hike it. And if you don't arrive early, do not expect to find a seat. Unless they've upgraded the visitors seating, the seating capacity was grossly inadequate. Good luck to the Vikings, you are going to have your hands full with the Colts.

Plenty of visitor seating. The story on parking is true though.

Meadowbrook lost by a TD to Mogadore (8) not twenty. It was also an away fill in game last minute for both teams.
VC needs to be prepared to score on most of their possessions and hope for turnovers.

Vikes dont have athletes to compete with anybody outside of a bad tvc team. their line was good against bad teams. this will be a 42-6 type of game with meadowbrooke winning of course

Sounds like it would be pretty incredible if VC could pull it out. Not many are giving them any respect in this one.

I think the consensus on preps say it would be incredible if there’s no running clock. VC against the world.

Will this be live streaming tonight? If not does anyone know of a radio station that will be covering it?
