Glad they were able to fill that game against Midland, unfortunate they couldn’t play them but hopefully this team will be even better

Wouldn’t surprise me as kids get to Ironton and realize the work is more intense, and path to a starting spot is a little more competitive than where there came from. Can think of at least 3 examples.*Old Time Tiger wrote: Sat Jun 07, 2025 9:53 am So I've heard that the Raceland kid is back across the river @ Raceland.. I believe Irontons running game is going to be one of the best they’ve had in a while, look for big things out of the backfield. The O-Line will hold their own, going to be fun to watch this Offense again.

You could be right about the running game. Especially if this is the same Grace kid who played at Hurricane last year? Wasn’t he the number 1 rb in West Virginia?ohbuckeye2 wrote: Sat Jul 05, 2025 9:03 pm I believe Irontons running game is going to be one of the best they’ve had in a while, look for big things out of the backfield. Yes he was the #1 RB in WV. Funny enough in his Twitter he was tagging Ironton as of just yesterday at a Yale football camp. So he’s at Ironton

Yeah I thought I recognized that name when I seen roster. I am kinda surprised he left. Hurricane was pretty good and they had a 1-2 punch with him and another kid. Im sure he will be just fine at Irontonohbuckeye2 wrote: Sun Jul 06, 2025 4:50 pmKylan Grace 5’10 - 210 lbs RB/LB 4.5/40Jeaux Burreaux wrote: Sun Jul 06, 2025 12:18 pm Yes he was the #1 RB in WV. Re: Ironton Tigers 2025
Ironton's O-line looks be huge from what I been told and the backfield will be stacked it seems.
Between Williams and Carmon and this young man coming in from Hurricane if true add in Edwards at QB that is a explosive backfield.
And the receivers are nothing to overlook they have size and speed.
The Offense will be explosive the defense will be a question mark in some areas maybe but I believe they will be fine to.

Re: Ironton Tigers 2025
Ironton will be a juggernaut again this season. They overpower everyone. They have a very good blend of returning experience and young talent. Offense has the potential to be explosive again. All they have to do is execute. If this team can continue to keep unforced errors to a minimum and maintain the work ethic and tenacity they are known for we will see them in Canton again.

I believe they have a chance, this coming JR class is the same class that didn’t give up a point in the 8th grade, pretty talented class, along with a really good group of SR’s and SO’s
