Nope...he ended up staying at Burg.*

He will be a difference maker no matter where he plays I look forward to him having a big season just glad could get a concrete answer after all the hubbub from the spring

The Lineman transferring in from Cabell Midland is a beast be a big addition.
Excited to see the running back coming in from Hurricane man with Williams and carmen back there to that is scary.
I can see Carmen swinging out on a out pass and taking it to the house very quick and athletic and Willams is a monster to bring down.
This Ironton is loaded I know we have no Terry or no one like him but the depth and talent on this team is insane.

I think the Midland & Hurricane transfers are two of the best in wv at their respective positions.

Yep, expect him to have a solid season. Also heard he is done with basketball and has been focused solely on football since track ended. He'll be playing at the next level somewhere

As for Ironton, their backfield talent/depth is absolutely sick. Add in a dual threat QB like Edwards with the ball in his hand every play and there's not much reason for them to throw the ball all over the field anyways.

bigshot: agreed about the freshman QB also getting looks at TE/WR. Ironton did it in the past with Shreck, and with Thacker (QB/TE from Ashland) as well. Credit to them for getting their best athletes on the field regardless of position.*

Curious to see offensively how Ironton looks. If Edwards is as good as advertised and having Williams and Grace as a 1A and 1B at running back and how they use both of them

Ironton lost some line talent for sure but from what I was told they got some big talented young men coming up.
and in The young man coming in from Cabell Midland was all state last year and he is a big guy..

Anxiously awaiting Roster Release, as MaxPreps has one that is obviously not correct.
It’s missing player/s I heard were active in 7 on 7 participation.

It’s hard to keep up here in FL.

Can any1 provide MidLand LB info & any input on how Biggs will be utilized, based on what was shown During the 7 on 7’s.?

Please & Thank You!

Im very EXCITED!!!

BACKFIELD:

Edwards
Carmon
Williams
Grace
Biggs?

WOW!

Line Play waiting & Hungry to prove & show what Pendleton & crew have instilled in their preparation & training of these young men to show on the field.

WOW!

That sounds right. Idk if any of them will be starters. Im sure they will see plenty of playing time though

I think if Biggs doesn’t earn the starting QB he will be a great tightend. Hes just so athletic and you can tell he gives 110% all the time.

The Midland lineman that transferred has struggled with the conditioning. He has pushed himself but still isnt up with the other power kids. He been doing extra to get where he needs to be.

These Ironton kids are always ready to step up and play. There are some big shoes to fill this year

Bump lb
Terry receiver/special teams
Johnson corner
Layne ol/dl

Man to graduate this kinda talent but still be excited about what is next up that is a blessed fanbase. Work ethic matches the high profile. Bright lights on Fri night for the Tigers.

Ironton is deep with a roster I believe is 65 young men on it.
Also saw where Ironton is #7 on the top 100 small High School teams in Ohio list Burg came in at 12 in the top 100 not to far behind and Amanda Clear creek at 13.
I expect a great year for Ironton and the Buzz is really generating for a great year.
Go Tigers

I thought #7 looked pretty solid at QB, but his accuracy is the only question. Could maybe see him go back to WR, but it'd surprise me as a freshman QB starting at a school like Ironton doesn't happen very often.*
6ft4 or 6ft5 even if he isnt Qb1 will be a great target at TE or WR along with Silva who is also a big target and could be used similarly at TE.

The WR/TE room need only remember that none of them are expected to or have to be Terry for Ironton to win. Just gotta do their job as a collective and the WR room will be fine. Tons of talent.
Is’nt this kid going to be a sophomore? LOL .move your apostrophe over one letter

My predictions*
QB from SV/BC is fighting for the starting qb spot, prob wont beat out Kayden Edwards. He will start at TE if not
Lineman from Cabell will start on offense
RB from Hurricane wont beat out Zayne Williams, but will share offensive reps and start at middle backer
Minford kid is a freshman, he will get some playing time. I dont see him starting either side of the ball
