Well to the Warren kids that thing Andy Schob will be the coach I'd just like to say I talked to him and nothing is final. He still contacts the administration from Marietta every week asking about the position. Luckily they just seem to be unsure about a lot of things. (sarcasm)

Coach Schob will be coaching at Warren I know it for a fact. He and coach pifer have already been coming up with a new offense for the upcoming year. He is teaching at Warren now, coming to lifting every day, recruting players, and today started QB and reciever skills training. Jason Schob has also been out to Warren mentoring the QBs as well. I wish Marietta the best of luck this year but Coach Schob is a done deal at Warren.

Schob will interview for the Marietta job next week! If Warren will give him a teaching job, then he will be at Warren. Marietta does not have any teacher openings.
So, if Warren wants a great coach, then open up a job for Schob!!!!!!!

The fact is decisions like this have very little to do with players, personal relationships and allegiances. Sounds like Andy is going to what most folks would do and go where he can get the best job with the most security for his family. The fact that he has been working with the Warren players for the last week and talking very much like a Warren coach does give Warren folks reason to believe that he's at least in the neighborhood. However, if Marietta finds a great full-time position for him, then who knows . . .

Andy's a class act. He'll do the right thing.

Well depending on what happens it won't necessarily be with right thing, but it'll be what he has to do.

If he does the best thing for his family then it is the "right" thing.

If he ends up at Warren then I'm sure it won't "feel" like the right thing to Marietta folks, but one would hope that everyone would treat his decision with the respect it deserves.

Same goes for the Warren folks if he ends having to do an "about face" because he gets a better offer from Marietta.

As far as I know he'll be out there after school working with the Warren players.

Warrenwarriorfan. NICE POST. Nobody should argue about your last post. Personally I hope he stays at Marietta, but if he does go to Warren, everyone should know he did what he had to do. Family ALWAYS comes first. I will continue to consider him a friend and respect him as a coach and a first class individual.
