gahs4ever and zbd ...

I do get accused of being a bit pedantic from time to time.

(Let's all wait while they race to their Funk & Wagnalls ... )

I've seen both teams play against the Cavs and was simply more impressed with the Blue Devils of Zanesville. I'll put my money on them as I think they knock off the Ironmen on senior night.

Zanesville - 34
Jackson - 17

Because all politics are local ZV :)

Many fear that the only thing standing between a Democrat winning Ohio in the presidential election is Appalachia, and no one is more popular in Appalachia than Ted Strickland.

Just my two cents.

that is exactly why. Strickland will be meeting with supporters around 7:00 and will be leading the pledge before the game.

I am a Strickland supporter but not Obama.

I hope he doesn't take away the spot light from the from the seniors on senior night. Why do the pledge when we don't do it at any of the other ball games? Now if he wanted to sing the Star Spangled Banner, that would be different.

Mr. Strickland never made it to the game because he got delayed in Pomeroy. So we didn't get to say the pledge after all. Good game, except we lost, it rained, was cold, and it was the last time to watch my grand-daughters
cheer at a high school football game. Zanesvilles and Jackson's bands both put on a really good half time show. Good luck to all the seniors and their future plans.

Why did the Jackson band leave at half?

Congrats to Zville....enjoyed speaking with Zville's head coach's Dad.

Landrum led Jackson right down the field for a TD.

Good Luck to the senior kids and a noticably great effort and game by Lucas Lindamood.

The band actually left after the half because of ACTs today. That was planned before the crappy weather.
