WEEK 8: Jackson (6-1) @ Meigs (5-2)

I'm glad that everyone outside of Jackson is so confident that the Ironmen will roll tonight.

Jackson has played a pretty tough stretch of games already, they're coming off an emotional win against Logan, and they were pretty beat up after last week as well. I feel like Jackson "should" win this game, but I'll be pleasantly surprised if it's a blowout like everyone else seems to think.

Whatever the case may be, I know that Jackson has a lot of respect for Meigs, and the Ironmen know this will be a battle.

Jackson I think wins this one, but they will have to work for it. Meigs has got a good football team, no doubt about it.

If Meigs can keep from falling behind early like they have the last three games they can be there at the end. Athens just wasn't the team to get behind on. Even if they would get ahead early they must keep their heads in the game.

It's at Meigs, so they will be up by two scores as soon as Jackson steps off the bus. The question will be can Meigs do their part and maintain that lead?

You know, I have seen you spout off on here several times about "Meigs being up by two scores as soon as Jackson steps off the bus". I'm calling you out. Prove what you are saying. Prove that the officials that work the Meigs games are cheaters. I understand that you try to get a rise out of people, but it's high time somebody calls you out for what you are......an irritating blabber mouth! C'mon biggun, show us what ya got!

The silence is deafening, isn't it? Typical bully behavior. Spout off, making hugely false accusations, yet doesn't have the stones to provide any proof to what is claimed. Just another turd in the bowl.

Jackson, despite 11 penalties are dominating big time. Leading 40-6 with 1:10 left in the 3rd and 2nd team defense enters and on offense had 3rd string QB, 2nd team lineman and running backs deep down the depth chart and they broke loose and added a TD to make it 47-6.

Jackson is getting better and better.
