Congrats to Warren. Heck of a game by Williams. 261 yards and 4 touchdowns. Definitely the main piece for the Warriors. Really great game for 3 and a half quarters. Warren also has a really big line that played well. VC was able to move the ball well but just stalled out on a few drives which hurt us. We actually out gained Warren tonight but just couldn’t get a stop late in the game. Again, great job by Williams. Good luck moving forward to the Warriors. See you again next year!

John Glenn win and elite eight game against New Philly to go to Final four are two of the best wins in warren history. This win is so big because going on the road against a 4-1 VC team with a team as inexperienced as this one and after losing two weeks in a row is tough. Any win is a good win at the end of the day though. Rather have these conversations than what it was like 5 years ago going 0-10.

Weak schedule. Vinton’s 4 wins only have a total or 6 wins between them. And 1 of those were teams they beat playing each other. Records don’t mean everything.

Gotta give a ton of credit to warren and Williams on a great game. On the other hand. Vinton County should never have lost to a 2-4 team, not with this senior class and experience VC has. Never in this game did VC come out of their 3 front defense to slow down the run. No adjustments at all on defense is inexcusable when your getting the ball ran down your throat in between the tackles. We’ll continue to beat the well below.500 teams but when we face an average team we don’t have it. All talk but no walk and it falls back on getting out coached. Weakest schedule in years and get past a 2-4 warren or an average zane trace

Remember Warren yes 2-4 but look at their schedule. Back to back weeks against Fort Frye who hold the #1 spot in D.6, and Dover who is #4 in D.3, yes they took a hit against losing to Morgan which they wish they had the game back and then a lose to Williamstown without any practice during week due to Covid. Warren will be great next yr or two with a lot of sophomores and few Freshmen this year playing varisty. But you are right VC made no adjustments to the run and in Warren's case why go away from it when it works. FF and Dover put running clocks on VC. As you seen Warren is better than there 3-4 record and they are starting to figure things out from what I hear after losing 15 seniors off there great team last year.

JT Rice was in on 24 tackles.
Enigmaax, where does he rank in Warren history in terms of yards in a season?

He’s currently 8th in single season rushing and is 555 yards from tying the single season record of 1598. As talented as he is, getting close to the record is not a far fetched idea.

Wow, closer than I thought! Wouldn't be easily but one huge game and who knows, when was the record set Beg?

Floyd Griffith in 1981 with 1598. I would expect him to shatter every rushing record by the time he’s done.
