He must have some connections too. Talent was even week 1, he out coached em
Talent may have been even but experience was not on the offensive side of the ball and I believe that was the difference. Ironton skilled kids had more overall varsity experience at the QB, RB, and Receiver positions.
I think Ironton made some great halftime adjustments on defense and Wheelersburg did not use their player’s correctly. The Portsmouth recruit needed a lot more touches. They will
play again.
Agree.

This is becoming a pattern for Burg on the offensive side. They fail to make the correct adjustments and get shutout after half.

May end up being when it’s all said and done. The game Friday night was more lopsided than the score showed. Ironton doll trolled the game and speaking to many unbiased observers said Ironton is 3-4 Tds better if playing a clean game. Hopefully we see the matchup again in the playoffs.
Right now neither team or fans need be chirpin. Too may mistakes week one. Ssssh until its corrected. 💯
Now on this we both agree.

Ironton beat Burg 17-14 is all we know. How good either team is or will be is still unknown, especially given how sloppy both teams played.
Yes. 1000%

Go Fighting Tigers……
Hopefully Ironton 8th grade did better, else Pendleton will have to work overtime to find replacements.

Ask yourself the same question! Without the multiple recruits does Ironton score at all!

Who accused you of bragging? Is English taught at IHS?

Oh wait, you probably played football at IHS back in the day when attending class and taking tests were optional. So allow me to help:

The word “celebrating” is not synonymous with the word “bragging”.

I didn’t use the word “brag”, I used the word “celebrate”. Seriously, you Ironton folks struggle with the English language.

So show me where “brag” is on this list:

The comma and period go inside the quotation marks dummy. As do all punctuation marks. Learned that at Ironton.

That’s true with American English, but the rules are different with British English.

But regardless of American or British English, celebrating does not mean bragging.

I finally got around to watching the replay in this one and both teams are going to be a pain in the rear for the next nine weeks. Actually, 8 now that we have already had two weeks go by.

The English major and fans come to the games with milk jugs and rocks. But they are much smarter than the normal fan.
