Freddy fans are starting to get real cocky. I remember in 2007 they didnt even fill the stands in a playoff game an fthe fans were doubting their chances. Some of the things I heard walking out of the stadium last Saturday showed me truly how "unclassy" of a program they are developing.

isn't it funny how the team that loses always seems to know the intent of the other teams fans? the fans aren't the program, the players and the coaches are, and the fans get to be the support system that makes it great...

So because there fans have big mouths and no class, that means that the players and coaches are the same?

You can't sit there and say that what a few fans say reflect on the players and coaches.

I have to pick the Freddies to win. I was very impressed last week with the teams, bands, fans and facilities and Nelsonville. Good Luck to both Teams.

GO FREDDIES!

I'm curious about something. What is the Freddies mascot? You know we have an ironman, Wellston has a rocket, Oak Hill has the mighty Oak, But what is a Freddie? Every time I see that name on here, I think of the dance back in the 60's called Do The Freddie. Can anyone from Fredericktown answer this for me?

Our mascot is a Freddie Bird. Looks a lot like a cardinal.

Does anybody know a good place to tailgate since they aren't opening parking until 4:30?

Just doing a little Google research on the Freddie Bird and seen where actor Luke Perry went to school at Fredericktown, Ohio, and was the Freddie Bird Mascot. Also on Beverly Hills 90210 their fictional high school's mascot was the Freddie Bird. It's nice to learn new things.
