The field is on the main strip in downtown. Not sure what the best way from Wheelersburg, but I would say take 23 and then cut across. Lancaster traffic can get pretty heavy between 4 and 6 so you should plan accordingly. They do have a Roosters nearby, so you might want to get their early, beat the traffic, and have some good food and drinks.

thats a good one. where exactly is the stadium at?

It's behind the high school.

I just got some great news.(no, I didn't save a bunch of money by switching to Geico) But I did just get off half a night from work on Friday so I can attend the game. That just makes me a happy man!!!

Yeah, I asked about leaving @ 3pm Friday so we can go early and eat and hang out before the game instead of rushing!

I have to be to work by 11:30 or midnight after the game. I figure if it's over and we're on the road before 10:00 pm then it shouldn't be a problem. Of course, the guy working for me can't leave until I get there.

burgfan2,

From what I hear he is a very mobile QB. Watching the video links in this post seems to back this up. I agree Burg hasn't seen a good mobile QB this season except maybe Portsmouth and StC. I think this kid is a little more dangerous on the run.

If traveling from Columbus Area, I have been told to avoid US33 out of Columbus as traffic can get heavy.

From the south, taking US23 to Circelville, exit onto Main Street (I think), go thru town and turn left onto Lancaster Pike/US22. About 20 miles to Lancaster.

To Lancaster High School (and remember these are from Mapquest)
From US-22, turn left onto N HIGH ST / OH-37 (1.5 miles)
Continue on OH-37 to Lancaster HS

23 to Chillicothe. Take 159 all the way to Rt. 22, turn right and follow into Lancaster. Go through town and turn left on 137 or 37, this will take you to the field.

If you do not want to take 159 out of Chilly, go up to Circleville and and turn right on Rt. 22.

Been to the stadium many times, plenty of seating although you do have to walk a little bit from the parking area. Dress warm!

Go Pirates!
