Through five games, Huff has carried the ball 124 times for 755 yards and 10 TDs. He also had an 89 yard INT return for a TD last week against Gallia Academy. His play at OLB has also been outstanding. Cody should definitely be in consideration for SEOAL MVP if he continues to perform well, and I'm sure he will do just that.

Huff is a skilled player on both sides. Let's just hope he avoids puking on the field during the game like against portsmouth

What's your deal? This is the second time that you've made some type of derogatory comment about one of Jackson's players. Better hope you can back up all the smack talk on the field with a win.

And you guys should be very proud of that Huff boy, he is one heck of a football player! On Offense and Defense!!! If he continues he should definately be league MVP in my eyes.

Does anyone have his full stats?

noreply posted some very good stats through week 5 in another thread......

When does puking on the field have anything to do with how a player plays... I have seen players puke on the field because they got to hot or nerves or whatever and then play better after they do it.... Huff is a fine back...He plays well on both sides of the ball......Marietta will have their hands full with him...

Pride the nitpickers on this forum have no sense of humor. They would rather jump all over you. Most jokes just go over their heads.

MariettaPride21,

I don't remember for sure because the posts were deleted, but I thought you had originally made a comment about one of the Jackson DBs. That's why I said this is the second time you have made a comment like that. It's fine if you were joking. I don't really see how it was funny, but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. Good luck on Friday. Should be a great game.

2old,

Sorry for my nitpicking. I guess I don't have much of a sense of humor when I'm reading about how awful Jackson's players are and how one of them vomited during a game. I'm sure Huff doesn't mind if he vomits 10 times on Friday as long as Jackson wins.

So the second sentence in your post didn't exist? Why even say that? You followed a compliment with a lame "joke".

well when your watching film and right before a guy gets the hand off he projectile pukes everywhere it looks funny

there is no chance that by me saying a kid puked makes him a bad football player
your obviously misunderstanding me
why would i say how good of a player he is then bash him on the second sentence
doesnt make much sense to me

I never said you were calling him a bad football player. I realize that you said he's good on both sides of the ball. I just don't understand the need for some joke at the expense of a player after you already trashed one of his teammates and got your post deleted for it. Who cares if he puked during the game. I didn't realize that kind of thing was noteworthy enough to make it to SEOP. Stop throwing out little jokes and insults on this message board and play the game.

Sounds about right to me. I'd like to see Arhtur get a good bit of carries for Jackson though...try to take some of the load off Huff.

Westbrook and his receivers have been very good so far this season. I've noticed that Wheeler has some good rushing stats too, though. Seems like Marietta is a little more balanced than people give them credit for. Jackson will have to make sure that they don't let Marietta hurt them on the ground as well.
