I'm not to sure about all of the other teams but, I think Ironton is going to be a force in this region. They return virtually everyone from last years team and I think they will make a BIG run in the playoffs.

I think it'll be tougher. Amanda and Ironton have to be strongly considered based on their program history and returnees.

Didn't Rock Hill graduate most of their playmakers? I think they play Burg this year also. I think they'll struggle a little. Portsmouth lost a ton too. Westfall lost a lot, but they have a great program. I think them, Ironton, Martins Ferry, and Amanda will finish 1-4 in points.

Rock Hill barely got in for a down year in this region. 8-2 will be a minimum record to get into the playoffs. Don't expect to see them there.

Forgot about the Ferry for some reason.

The SVC could send 2 teams to the playoffs next season. Westfall plays non conference C-ville, Logan Elm and Teays Valley, Piketon will be playing Waverly, Nelsonville York and Northwest. C-ville will be a tough game for Westfall to win as will the big 2 for Piketon. If both come out undefeated it wont matter who wins the league they both should make it. If both lose 1 game, than the head to head match will determine who gets in. I dont see eithers schedule affording them two losses, except if Westfall is undefeated and Piketon has 2 losses, than if Piketon wins that game they might squeak in. IMO

Ironton will be back in this year as well. St. Clairesville should also. Portsmouth and Rock Hill will have a tough time making it. What does Union Local and New Lex bring back?

Waverly can but they have to win the big games and that is Piketon, Jackson and Burg. Minford, Valley, and P West will get them a few points, but Northwest will not. Is Waverly still playing South Point and Vinton Co and Pickerington?

Should be a fun season to watch unfold.

ROCK HILL AHEAD OF IRONTON, NOT LIKELY. EVEN WITH THEIR BRUTAL SCHEDULE. TRUTH IS IF ROCK HILL OR ANY OVC TEAM PLAYED IRONTON'S SCHEDULE 2 WINS WOULD BE IMPRESSIVE FOR THEM, JUST A FACTOID BABY. :aaaaa26 :aaaaa26 :aaaaa26 :aaaaa26 :aaaaa26 :aaaaa26 :aaaaa26 :aaaaa26 :aaaaa26 :aaaaa26 :aaaaa26 :aaaaa26 :aaaaa26 :aaaaa26 :aaaaa26 :aaaaa26 :aaaaa26 :aaaaa26 :aaaaa26 :aaaaa26 :aaaaa26 :aaaaa26 :aaaaa26 :aaaaa26 :aaaaa26 :aaaaa26 :aaaaa26 :aaaaa26 :aaaaa26 :aaaaa26 :aaaaa26 :aaaaa26 :aaaaa26 :aaaaa26 :aaaaa26 :aaaaa26 :aaaaa26 :aaaaa26 :aaaaa26 :aaaaa26 :aaaaa26 :aaaaa26 :aaaaa26 :aaaaa26 :aaaaa26 :aaaaa26 :aaaaa26 :aaaaa26 :aaaaa26 :aaaaa26 :aaaaa26 :aaaaa26 :aaaaa26 :aaaaa26 :aaaaa26 :aaaaa26 :aaaaa26 :aaaaa26 :aaaaa26 :aaaaa26 :aaaaa26 :aaaaa26 :aaaaa26 :aaaaa26 :aaaaa26 :aaaaa26 :aaaaa26 :aaaaa26 :aaaaa26 :aaaaa26 :aaaaa26 :aaaaa26 :aaaaa26 :aaaaa26 :aaaaa26 :aaaaa26 :aaaaa26 :aaaaa26 :aaaaa26 :aaaaa26 :aaaaa26 :aaaaa26 :aaaaa26 :aaaaa26

LOL.football is about here since 'Bait is warming up to throw some jabs at the good boys out in the country at RH. The first post was not a prediction of the playoff standings for Region 15....it was the, now get this...., the [b]ACTUAL[b] final standings for the playoffs...RH was seed 8 with their God awful schedule...losing 3 games and still getting in. And yes, you can read it in black and white...ahead of the Ironton tigers.

As far as schedules go, you guys do play a beast of a schedule no doubt....not going to argue with you there cause there is no arguement. However, that schedule/league the way it is isn't going to last if the economy keeps going the way it is(predictions of gas +$5 a gallon). Question is....where will Ironton go?

I look for Martins Ferry and Amanda Clearcreek to make some noise.....Porstmouth, ST. Clairsville, Westfall, and RH were all hit hard by graduation....New Lex and Bishop Ready could be tough....Waverly I just don't know, Fairland could be strong.. Ironton looks to have a nice backfield no doubt, but could have trouble up front with a couple of spots...maybe I'm wrong...not trying to start anything......Region Champ= Ferry or Clearcreek

How would you like to be one of the teams on the lower half of that list?

Very difficult for some of those schools to ever make the playoffs.

That's why making the playoffs is an achievement.
