yeah! Who was the boy a year or two ago for Burg who did both. Can't remember his name. He didnt make it through the FB season, I think it got to hard or something. I'm sure it would be VERY difficult. But yes it happened.

Daniel Scott at warren does the place kicking and he plays soccer. He comes to all the practices and kicks for a while, does some special teams stuff, then leaves to soccer practice. It works I dont see why it shouldn't be done.

Evan would be a nice addition to the team. Hopefully he comes out and plays.

Piketon has had Tyler Wickham, senior year came out for football and kicked on Friday nights. He also played soccer and the coaches share his time. 2 years ago, Justin Leist did the same thing, both only kicked for football their senior season.

Justins younger brother Jeffrey kicked for our JR high team his 7th and 8th grade years and now is a freshman and will be kicking on the JV team next season.

I felt bad for Jeffrey this past 8th grade season. We were playing our last game and we hadnt won one yet. We were down by 1 with 10 seconds left and I sent him in for his 1st FG ever in a game. He had kicked plenty of extra points. It was from the 12 yard line so it was a 29 yard FG. He missed it just barely left. He bounced back pretty well from the miss and is attending camps this summer to get better.

This is at Piketon

The word around Minford is that Evan Price will be kicking for the falcons this year as well as playing soccer. About 3 years ago Colin Johnson kicked for the Falcons and played soccer also. So I dont see why it would be a problem.

Drew Basil kicks for Chillicothe, and he does a darn good job of it too. He had all district and all state honors in his sophmore season and more good things will come out of him
