Greenup gave up 67 point last night and 49 last week, doesn't look like they have a defense.

Burg is on a roll now and shouldn't have any problems Friday night against Greenup, but who knows, anything can happen in a game of football.

The games the next two weeks should get UGLY early. The starters play the first half with valuable varsity playing time gained by some of the young Pirates.

The reserves should be in at the start of the 3rd quarter.

man that's a little rough FIDO.

i agree. sure this game will get ugly and probably quick but i don't see coach woodward runnin the score up that high. IMHO i do see the burg puttin up 30 or 40 points on the scoreboard. the last time these two teams played was in 1998. the burg won 35-14 at greenup. which was also the last year the burg made it to the state semi finals. could this be de ja vu all over again? burg holds a 9-5-1 record against greenup

I actually look forward to going to GC.
Never been there and I always see it passing by on 23,
not that its anything spectacular but just thought it would be cool to go there.

Burg wins 35-7

BTW why does Burg continue to play Shank when the game is out of reach deep in the 4th Quarter? There really is not a backup and you can't take a chance of something happening. At 28-6 with no chance for Portsmouth bring in someone else!!

Wheelersburg SHOULD win this game rather easily. But the moment you overlook a team is when BAD things can really happen. If Wheelersburg stays focused and plays Pirate football, they'll win easily. If Wheelersburg walks into the game with a big head and acting like a West Sider, well...lol...just kidding, (even though I grad from Burg, I spent half of my life on Dry Run too, so yes, I am 1/2 West Sider as well.) Seriously, Wheelersburg stays focused, Wheelersburg wins, period.

Greenup may be in for a long night, unless maybe Tobias can find a sweater just for this occasion. You know he is a Mr. Rogers of sorts and has an extensive array of sweaters to choose from.

GO TIGERS!!!
