WK 7 Symmes Valley @ Sciotoville East

Post by battlecats »

Symmes Valley always plays East pretty tough and vice versa so I think this should be a pretty good game. The winner will be in the drivers seat to win the SOC crown and I look for East to come out on homecoming and and win this game.
East 28-7

East needs to come out on homecoming and win another big game to keep their SOC threepeet and playoff hopes alive. This should be a fun game to watch with Coach Webb and his group and their hard nosed running game.

Hey if Matt is up for it, I'll do it with the loser using the other schools avatar the rest of the year til playoffs start.

Symmes Valley is not a team to take lightly and the Tartans won't.

With Symmes Valley sitting at #12 in region 23, this game means a lot to their playoff hopes, too.

Good luck to my second-favorite team in Lawrence County!

Here's hoping LC gets at least two teams into the Playoffs!

the vikings will win this one in a hard fought battle. some of the younger kids are starting to grow up and battle for 4 quarters on the field.

If SV plays as they're capable of playing: tough, smart, and with heart, the Vikings will pull out a hard fought victory and again be heading to the playoffs.

I would say that East is just too talented for the Vikings to overcome. S. Valley still may be a year away but I guess we'll see friday night. Anyone know the breakdown on the S. Valley roster in regards to how many kids per class?
I keep thinking that East will have a down year once the seniors are gone but the underclassmen keep stepping up and this year is no different. The Garret boys have stepped up bigtime along with Rawlins, Grey, Blair and a host of others. They might be a force next year as well.

very true, next year they will have two question marks those being Quarterback and the line. Here is hoping for a big win friday and three peet and a back to back playoff stint.

Maybe not, but East has a good run defense.

What does Symmes Valley like to do with the ball this year? They run alot like usual or do they mix it up pretty good? I havent seen them play so I dont know much about them...

Any injuries for either team this week? I think East made out ok against Oak Hill but I did notice Hoover may have tweaked his ankle a little so hopefully he'll be ready to go Friday.
