What can you say? Game will probably be out of hand by the end of the first qtr.

Just hope for an injury free game for both teams.

Reserves are in by the beginning of the 2nd quarter and I doubt the starters see much action in the 2nd half.

Burg 42-0 at the half

Burg 49
Northwest 7
Final

The score is unimportant, the impotent thing is to get the younger kids some playing time and see what next years team will look like.

I look for many Burg followers to go to the Minford and West game to see what the Siders have coming into the stadium in a few weeks.

Just watch them on demand and nextv. I keep hearing how good they are but i dont see them doing any better than Burg or Minford. Preparation is the key. Oh, and Burg players need to hold onto the ball when hit and Qb must not underthrow the ball or have it tipped for interceptions like Minford did friday night. These are things you can obviously keep from happening according to their posters. Defense didnt produce any turnovers. That Burg game should have been 28-14 minford according to them.

Actually i wonder why we didnt try a few more quick passes instead of the longer routes vs Minford? No bubble screens or quick slants. Would have helped QB get some leeway on playaction if we had completed a few. Heck, one pass attempt and we still beat Minford.

another win for the burg, Burgs defense looked good against Minford, dont even think the Mohawks score, unless their varsity is in again Burgs JV.

I believe the starters will finish the half unless the score is 45+

Hate to break it to you falcon2010 but minford and wheelersburg is not, has not ever been a rival. We have not beat them enough to be a rival. Until we beat them consistently for the next ten years, we'll just be another team.
