To me it don't seem like as many folks are going to the games like they did in years past. I can remember porthsmouth stadium being packed on both sides when they playd ironton.

I thought Ironton had a good turnout for the Portsmouth game. I did notice that the Portsmouth stands weren't very full though.

Mama, there were a lot of Ironton fans on the Portsmouth side as there always is when we play there.......much better view from up top the stadium and usually a bunch of SEOP people gather to shoot the breeze.......

another reason for the fan base diminishing is a lot of the old folks who followed the Tigers on the road have moved on to the football field in the sky but there are still many die-hards who wouldn't miss any games regardless of travel or weather....and the population in Ironton has been going down for several years and many of the young folks who should be replacing the dead ones have moved on.......JMHO

actually the whole crew was detained by doggie and ozzie with some good food and conversation before the game and we kind of feel obligated to grace them with our presence during the game.........

very low numbers for Portsmouth and Ironton, you could look at the visitors side and still see plenty of empty seats.......crowds are no where close to what they used to be for either team.

of course you could bring the 100 plus down from the hill and fill some seats
