First of all congrats to Meigs on their 1st playoff appearance. Unfortunately it will be a short trip as New Lex is one heck of a team that is good enough to possibly win the region.

No one deserves this opportunity more than Coach Chancey. He is a class act that is deeply under appreciated at his alma mater. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to a program that most schools would die for.

Congrats to Meigs, but what a horrible draw. New Lexington should win this region and will score as many points a they want against Meigs. This gets ugly real fast. Wish Meigs could have got a better draw for their first game.

No doubt New Lex is the favorite, all the Marauders can do is go play their best game and see what happens. It's an honor just to be playing again this weekend.

Congrats to coach Chancey and his Meigs team. He is a first class person and coach. I wish Meigs all the best in the playoffs. However, New Lexington is a first rate team that should win it's region. Very tough draw for Meigs in it's first trip to the playoffs. Represent the TVC well.

This is GREAT! I am so proud of the Meigs Marauders! This is something the whole Meigs Football Family should enjoy! I hope every ex player and the entire community comes out and supports the team.

Someone should try to set up a bon fire type deal downtown like we use to have before homecoming games. It is a wonderful atmosphere on the river and was always a great experience.

I also think it would be a good idea to have shuttle buses to save gas money for people wanting to make the 2 hour trip from Pomeroy.

Meigs has had many of teams deserving to make the playoffs before, but up until a few years back the region only took 4 teams instead of 8 and there were a few years we were in div. 3 region 11 and would have made the playoffs in all 3 other division 3' regions and were left out of the picture because region 11 was so loaded... so this is LONG overdue! Hopefully this group will make up for all of the teams that didn't get to go!
