Was football invented in 1928? Ohio was still part of the Northwest Territory.

Looked like the first 7on7 for both teams this evening. Warren's defense looked better than I expected. The offense showed signs of life, but there were the usual early, early season miscues for both teams. Warren mixed things up personnel wise all evening so it didn't seem like they ever got into a rhythm. All in all it was sloooooow going (i.e., not very exciting).

For what it's worth I thought that Wellston players looked like they had some decent size. Some of the players had definitely been in the weight room.

The Warren kids definitely show the benefits of hitting the weights. The Warriors look strong.

Warrenwarriorfan, How did the crosseyed trippletight spread'em sawedoff shotgun offense look for Wellston?
Joking aside Wellston's kids have been working hard in the weight room.I am looking forward to a good season for these Rockets . They went 4-6 last year ,with losses to a very good Minford team 21-14 , and a double ot loss to N-Y.Games that could have went either way.
Good luck to your Warriors this season.
