River is solid and their defense might be even better than I keep hearing about.

I think the only way Trimble wins this one is to jump out early, go up at least two score and then hang on.

Don't underestimate the caliber of this Trimble team. They may have started a little slow tonite on offense, but after a few series they put things together and BAM! just like that it's 13-0. My early prediction for this week: Trimble in a close one :-D

Should be a good one. Hope it is played in Marietta. 1 hr. both teams, c'mon OHSAA, make sense for once. Force Marietta to host a game. Let that city see some good football for a change.

River's got a pretty fair D and has done pretty consistent job all season. I'd like to see this one for sure.

My sources indicated to me tonight that Marietta is the likely choice for this game. It by far makes the most sense, so hopefully, the OHSAA does the right thing here.

Did Marietta bid to host?

Keyzer, do you know where I can find a list of venues who have applied to host? I know I've seen that in the past.

River beat Caldwell, at Caldwell, 14-7 without at least 1 or 2 starters. They are allowing less than a TD per game of defense. C'mon guys, how can you compare the "Turkey Valley League" Hocking Division to the OVAC? Go ahead and let your boys get a false sense of security. Reality will set in when Trimble is down 7-0 with 11:30 left in the first quarter.

14-7 doesn't sound so bad considering last night's results...

River may be better, as I have no clue, but to use that score as evidence is laughable.

Marietta did put in to host this season. I am an assistant coach can verify that. We have not heard if the OHSAA has chosen us to host though.
