I really don't know the schedule, I just posted a guess. I figured the Fairland game was away because that would give Trimble five home games and five away games.

So I guess Trimble has six home games. That means six trips to the lot.

I'm not real big on self-promotion, but I finished adding the last team pictures on www.trimblefootball.com so if you click on ALL TEAMS you can at least see a team picture for every year that Trimble has been in existence since the 1964 consolidation.

Orange and Brown: you don't happen to who runs the Nelsonville-York website? If you do, ask them if they want a copy of the 1981 Trimble/Nelsonville-York game. I can burn it onto a CD-R as a windows media file, then he could use movie maker or whatever film editing program to put some clips of that game on the Nelsonville-York page. If you contact them and they are interested, PM me and we will work out the details shipping that over.

I am not sure who runs the Web site but I will try to find out this week. Give me a couple of days and I will get back to you.

Should be a good year, lots of holes to fill, 8-2 or 7-3

I think the three "rotating games" of Belpre, Oak Hill, and Fairland are great pickups for Trimble (rotating meaning they change from time to time as NY and Alex are always on the schedule).

I think Trimble and Belpre should play each other every year. That would be a good matchup in most seasons.

The Fairland and Oak Hill games should be nice matchups as well.

I think Trimble and Crooksville would be a good matchup most seasons as well. I would have liked to have seen Crooksville stay on Trimble's schedule. Crooksville was a great opponent for NY too. The only problem with Crooksville is they only have 2 non-league games to work with, so I assume Crooksville likes to see new opponents every couple years with those games to keep things from being the same all the time.

Another potentially good game would be Trimble vs. Athens. I would love to see this one happen. Meigs and Wellston would make great pickups too in future years.

I think the non-league schedule for Trimble has been better the last couple years than it was in the early 2000s. More potential for some exciting games now. With NY and Trimble being played in Week 1, that could have potentially caused all of the excitement of a season to take place in the first game and then it could have easily tappered off to boredom in following weeks. There should still be excitement now, at least in the non-league schedule. As is the case in most years, I don't think more than 1 or 2 Hocking Division games for Trimble will be that exciting.

I wish the Hocking Division schedule could have things shook up a little bit. I think Trimble should be playing Waterford and Federal Hocking in weeks 9 and 10 instead of Southern and Miller. The end of the season should have some of the most exciting games that are also a tune up for a potential playoff birth. It seems like only FH and Waterford have produced excitement for Trimble in most years. I don't think the outcome of the vast majority of games against Miller, Eastern, and Southern have ever really been in doubt.
