And the sad part is there's no doubt to me that Newark Catholic WOULD beat 6 of the above listed teams easily head-to-head but because of their schedule and record we probably won't get to see it happen as they'll be on the outside looking in.

It seems not making the playoffs is the nor at Newark Catholic now a days.

They did not make it in 2008 or 2009
I believe that was the first time in the history of the school they missed out two years in a row.

If they fail to make it this season it will be another first, not making it 3 out of 4 years.

I get what you are saying and for the most part agree with you, but when you look at it, even with the NC monster schedule, they have no one to blame but themselves not making it. With all due respect, this is probably the worst region in the state. If you can't make it in in region 23, you don't deserve to play more than 10 games. IMHO.

Just doing some quick numbers I believe the region will look like this coming into week 10
1. Symmes valley
2. Danville
3. Bealsville
4. Bishop
5. Buckeye c
6. South gallia
7. Notre dame
8. Sciotoville
9. River
10. Trimble
11. Newark cath.
Just from doing some quick math I can't see any one below these teams making it.

When all is said and done the 2-5 spots will be close.

Projected after week 10

SV (9-1) 16.127
Beallsville (8-2) 13.315 (there are 3 "Toss up" games for beallsville opponents in week 10 CV vs TCC, Toronto vs Madonna & Paden City vs Valley) If their opponents go 3-0 it will be 13.315, 2-1 12.9546, 1-2 12.69, 0-3 12.18)
Buckeye Central (8-2) 13.3 (if south Central beats new london) it's 12.95
Danville (7-3) 12.44
Rosecrans (6-4) 12.04
ND (8-2) 11.765
Trimble (7-3)11.13
SG (7-3) 10.832

Updated with rosecrans loss.

I think my math is correct.........

That is an interesting scenario! That would put SV playing SG two weeks in a row!

Teams newark Catholic beat and who they play.
Fisher Catholic has D-6 Millerport(0-8)tonight and D-2 Licking Heights(3-5 next week)FISHER SHOULD GO 1-1

Heath has Living Valley(6-3) D-3
Heath should lose

Bexley and Whitehall play each other.

if that played out NC would finish with 9.75

I think my math is correct.........

Would SG's divisor go from 98 to 99 since the Trimble game vs. Coal Grove now counts? Just curious.

Yes I believe you're correct, that would change sg's number to 10.832.

I tried to run east's numbers but since they defeated a Kentucky team, I don't know all of the division assignments for the teams Raceland, KY beat.

23 arguably is the weakest region but will have the highest Harbin points to make the top 8.
