Fairfield Union at Newark Catholic scrimmage recap.

Post by LICKING COUNTY FAN »

Fairfield Union looks big, strong, and fast.
Both of their QB’S seem to have a nice touch on the ball while their big back was a beast to bring down. Their other backs were smaller but very quick.

They looked good both passing and running the ball, especially good throwing it when they did.
They had two turnovers one pick and one fumble.

I believe they had in the upper 40s dressed.

Their 0-Line was dominating at times, especially their first unit.

I believe they ended with three scores.

For Newark Catholic, they were very crisp throwing the ball, all three QB’S.
The receivers overall were very good not counting I think two drop passes.

Running the ball did not look bad considering all that they lost.

The first unit looked about even with Fairfield Union who I think was very good.

The younger guys for Newark Catholic were very dominating on offense and just a tad better than the younger group from F-Union, who I thought was good.

Newark Catholic totaled five scores if the last one was credited to them.
