Oaks go up by 20-30pts in the first half and put the starters on the bench to get them rested for week 11.

Oak Hill doesn't even have to show up to win this game!

O.H.

What is Oak Hill's strategy for a game like this? They need conditioning for the playoffs but how long do they play their starters?

I'll be supporting Coach Mercer and the "Cats."

Because Oak Hill is in the wrong SOC Division.

Why wrong division gwell? Oh, I know, because they are a whopping 4 or 5 boys over the D5/6 cutoff! 4 less boys in the school and this would be nothing to consider. It was never a consideration 4 - 5 years ago when the Oaks were winning only 1 game or none! I do believe that if Minford wins against Valley this week and Oak Hill beats Green . . . Oak Hill is the real SOC Champion. Maybe we need to get some of you a little cheese to go with that whine . . . and I did watch Oak Hill BEAT Minford. It would not surprize me at all if the Oaks didn't win AT LEAST one playoff game. They are a very physical team and have good speed.

You are correct, Oak Hill is a very very good team.
But, that was not the question.

I hope we see you in week 11, @ Home ! If you think you are the SOC champs, them move to the SOC II !

They have had two good years, one good one (last year), and one great one (this year)...Last year I doubt they would of finished 5th in the league...This year, they could of won it...but you could say the same thing about that 10-0 East team in 2007, one or two years doesn't mean much...Next year they will be very, very good, but after that I think they go down a bit...one good string of success doesn't mean an Soc 1 should move up to Soc 2, or you could make the arguement East should...

Be honest now.
Division VI 124 Boys or less
SOC 1
ND 36
Green 70
East 78
Symmes 108
Oak Hill 145
Division V 125 to 176 Boys
SOC 2
Burg 150
Valley 152
Minford 169
West 180
Which SOC Division does Oak Hill really belong?
And I also think Oak Hill could have won the SOC 2.

G-Well its not going to happen Oak Hill will stay in the SOC I in football. Its a good fit, go back to the South Gallia thread from last week and I posted the history of Oak Hill in the SOC I. As it always happens small schools have their run of a good group of athletes and then the balance of power always swings to someone else. Symmes Valley had their run and then East had theirs and now its Oak Hill. As I said earlier go back to what I posted on the South Gallia thread about the history of the Oaks in the SOC I you can go back and look it up. They have never won the conference in their history of being in it. Most years they have been 2-2 in the conference one year they were 0-4 in it. There were never any complaints then when that was happening and when the balance of power shifts back to someone else in the future there will probably be nothing said then.
